Sanchez - 6 - Me parecio excelente.
Cuadrado - 8 - Que bien encarrando!

Tu a Tu a Brasil.

just got back from the game - had a good time. i was sitting along the side of the pitch just outside the 18 on the side that Cuadrado was on during the 1st half. i'll post some pics and video tomorrow

    1. crowd was surprisingly much more pro-colombia than brazil
    2. cuadrado was the man of the match. he kept brazil's defense on their toes and had a nice goal
    3. aquivaldo had a tough job guarding neymar 1 on 1 - no shame in that goal. other than a bad pass that could have led to a goal - i thought he did well considering he had to cover neymar mnay times.
    4. valencia - did well in the RB role given that is not his given position
    5. sanchez - great job in hte holding midfield role
    6. falcao - tough day - had no room to breathe
    7. jackson - almost had a goal with that little flick
    8. james - had a good game. i liked what i saw
    9. we played well without zuniga and guarin - we actually have depth
    10. ospina - incredible job today. needs to be an everyday keeper somewhere...
    11. yepes - did what he had to do
    12. macnelly - brought good balance to the midfield
    13. armero - could be a top 3 LB in the world if he could learn how to use his right foot

Saw the first half only, think we did well. Def came out with some nerves, but with good energy and purpose and tried to stick to the fundamentals of our game and didn't break down. Cuadrado, wow this guy has always had a game that sticks out, causes havoc to opposing teams and can get up and down the field all game long, we have to find a way to keep him on the field even though he is an amazing sub because of his qualities we still need him to play 90, when Guarin is back and with Cuadrado and Quintero progressing our attack is going to be stacked, I think a 4-1-3-2 might be the best formation

    -------Falcao--Teo/Muriel/Jackson/Bacca
    James------Guarin-------Cuadrado
    --------------Valencia--------------

Either way we have great problems at the moment with having to find a way to get all these players performing well on the field. I think today was a good step showing again that we can hang with a world power in Brazil even with an experimental lineup. The team is progressing well, and with all the excitement our players are getting better opportunities and scouted by big clubs which will only improve and also all the young guys or fringe players trying to break in will work harder and harder in clubs trying to get into this team that is headed to Brazil 2014!!

I think Cuadrado has shown but definitely after today showed why the best club in the world has spotted him before many other clubs, either way I'm sure the secret is out and he will be a wanted man, only thing I can't understand is how Udinese would let this guy go out on loan again this year. If I'm Barca I'm probably pissed after this game, the talk of him linked to them plus this game on a big stage vs a big team will alert other clubs to him.

Went to the game it was cold as shit and neither team really ran. One thing is sure we need to get rid of Yepes dude passed the ball directly to Kaka and Meymar 2x at least. Aquivaldo sucks too.

Macnelly was pretty awesome as was Cuadrado and James. Falcao was marked by 3 dudes all game and when touched the ball the whole stadium jizzed its pants.

We really could have won by a lot but it wasn't meant to be. Neymars penalty miss was funny but there was a blatant hand ball in the 1st half and Alvea punched Falcao in the throat like 2 minutes in.

Not bad we didn't have 3 guys who could be starters for us playing but it being cold def effected both teams

As I said in a previous post, Aquivaldo is more of a Left CB not a right CB.
As we saw against Argentina this pairing of Mosquera-Yepes does not work at all.

idk what game you saw or what type of seats you had, but yepes was solid/decent. Aquivaldo is the one who really shit the bed.

Yepes played the same way he has the last couple of years. He gave the ball away with some bad passes as Crzy said. He stuck out his foot at times and dove in wildly. And Got a yellow card in a dangerous part of the field.

Aquivaldo would do better at his Left CB position in my opinion.

It was Mosquera who gave the ball away to Brazilian opponent not Yepes. It's time to see what Zapata can do in Yellow and I'll leave Perea as other Cb since he was playing well plus his speedster.
