It's that time of year again...

Cast your ballot for the Chicago Fire player who impressed you the most during 2012. Friedrich's steady leadership in the back? Nyarko's persistent play? Rolfe's scoring touch? Fernandez' check cashing skills? No matter which, this is your chance to vote for your favorite.

The winner gets $1k from Section 8 Chicago to donate to a charity of their choice.

Voting is open to everyone until November 12th!

    VOTE HERE.

    Previous Winners
    2011: Dominic Oduro
    2010: CJ Brown
    2009: CJ Brown

Congratulations, Patrick. From my perspective you gave 110% every time you were on the field and certainly are deserving of the honor.

A Better Life for Kids is a non-profit organization founded to provide opportunities and to invest in the futures of children in need. We strive to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of needy children in Ghana by:
    • Providing assistance to orphanages in Ghana by purchasing food, medicine, and other essential supplies and equipment for the babies and children living there.
    • Funding education opportunities for orphans and children from families unable to afford the relatively small school fees. These funds provide children the opportunity to attend school by paying for their tuition fees, school uniforms, shoes, necessary school supplies, and lunch each school day.
    • Providing leadership development training, tutoring, and mentoring opportunities for children.
    • Fostering meaningful relationships to increase understanding and unity among people of different cultures.
