Pedro just nets for Spain in the 16th minute. Alexis Sanchez subbed off after 20 minutes in Chile's friendly - yikes!

^ Amazing goal that by Ibra (although an assist has to go to Joe Hart).

WOW ... Iniesta just waltzes through a few defenders in the box and dishes it out to Villa for the 2nd. Made it look so easy.

What a goal by Zlatan!

If only he didn't have such a major egocentric problem, he could have been a great signing in the end here. Ah well.

    • this is what I could find about his injury today, anyone see a timeline?Sprained right ankleAlexis Sanchez is injured with Chile
The FC Barcelona still no luck with injuries. In the match between his team against Serbia was substituted on the 20th minute by a blow.
    • The body team doctor said that Barca has a large hematoma in the affected area and should make appropriate tests to assess the time that will be sidelined.

That commentator either sounds like Santa Claus or somebody trying to take over the world when he starts to laugh.

Not only that, he almost always disappears in the big games. His CL knockout stage record ain't that great.

Great show by big Z. He's a great talent but did not fit in as we hoped at Barca.

Alexis out for 4 weeks with a strained ligament in his ankle.

Just saw the second-half of the Sweden-England match. Amazing what wearing the England jersey can do to a goalkeeper.

Still no CL title after more than a decade and he's playing for big clubs.

The finish is awesome but is very possible from there with GK 30 yards away from his goal.

Interesting part is that while he didn't win a CL, he won 9 straight leagues for the teams he played for from Ajax to AC Milan.

Exactly, he's just a great league player but big clubs also aiming for CL, they always want improvement, league isnt enough when you already won it 20 times. That's why Mourinho summoned by Moratti, and he bought Diego Milito, Sneijder and won the title at last. Since 2006 victory against Arsenal, Barca always put strong efford in CL and 2009 & 2011 are the results. With Ibra, they're going downhill compare to Etoo , Henry and also Villa who scored in 2011 final and in 3 goals in el classico that season.

Any player that signed to teams like Barcelona, Juventus, Real madrid, MU, Inter, AC Milan, Ajax, Bayern, they will surely get league medal shortly.

PSG lose to 9-man Rennes at home. :D They played 25 minutes against 10 man and 40 minutes against 9 men.

It looks like a #7 placed on top of the LPB crest.

Granada dominating Atletico, but can't score. So unlucky! Now watch Falcao come down and score the winner with his first chance....

Well, the reason for that is because it is a common practice by the equipment guys to cover up the logo with the players' numbers in order to differentiate whose gear it is and it's done with all the players the same way it is with Ronaldo in that picture.

It's just Spanish media trying to stir things up again, not Ronaldo thinking he's bigger than the club.

Well, I don't think the media has to do much to stir up things inside the Bernabeu Big Top. Mourinho is doing a great job of that himself.
Still, images of other examples would be welcome (but may not change my opinion of "CR7" :p).
