So what does the actual formation going to look like?

What roll is holtby gonna play? Surely gotze would be a great Ozil type roll and have schurrle on the wings with reus as false 9 and muller on the other wing..

It makes the most sense to play Goetze as the furthest up the field. Müller's natural position is right. Reus has done well on the left and no reason to change it at the moment I suppose, although he would probably be better upfront but not at the expense of allowing Götze some time and Holtby is ideal Özil replacement as he is closest to him that we have.

That line up is interesting. Better than what I expected (= Podolski on the left).

Yea its great to see Löw step out of his comfort zone, even if he was kinda forced to do it. Hope they practiced this formation this time.

They probably did for one hour and once it has failed, it will never be used again until 2015.

They are showing Luxembourg v Scotland here on ESPN. Ugh. The game is being show delayed live immediately afterwards. Are there any decent streams folks?

Who cares who's nominally up top? There'll be plenty of rotation between Gotze, Muller and Reus.

Mueller not better option, and neither is Podolski.

Reus yes but Goetze makes sense at this juncture.

He's not. It's really Goetze judging by the shape but they are all interchanging as the attacks build.

I just hope they won't end with Reus/Götze as CBs.

Great play by Höwedes again, but Götze continues to be annoying by trying to feather it into the net.
