I just saw this as well. Count me as one who didn't even know Solo had a fiance and was about to get married..

What I want to know is WTF Hope is doing with Stevens. The guy is a trainwreck:

Sadly, given Hope's background I don't find this terribly surprising. In fact, the pathology of it is sort of classic.

 

I saw a picture of her entitled 'flashing the rock' and that was the first I heard of an engagement.

 

All things considered it could have been worse, she could have been flashing and smoking the rock.

 

What the hell? What kind of late night B-movie crap is this?

I would say get that woman some help but I fear she may be beyond help, sadly.

 

Does this really suprise anyone, if you've followed her career?

I'm looking forward to the reality TV show they'll probably get as a result of this.

Not much to add except that the house is in a really expensive neighborhood (and really nice, if you've seen Hope Solo's up-close-and-personal video on US Soccer/Youtube) - probably worth at least 7 figures. How much is the federation paying the players, anyway?

 

Didn't she say that the Adrian dude helped her buy that house?

 

I do remember seeing a picture of her watering her lawn but I dont recall the house in the background
