It's news that Chivas USA will be at the HDC next season?:coffee:

That's as newsworthy as a new stadium not being moved into within 3 years.

Well since Chivas USA didn't really play any soccer at the HDC this past season, it would be news worthy if they did next year....

So the Scottish (at least the former one), Irish, and Colombian head coaches are all ok with players playing in MLS. It also looks like the Uruguayan and Ecuadorian head coaches are ok with it as well since they have called up MLS players for recent qualifiers. Far cry from MLS being an international death sentence a few years ago.

Didn't Marc Burch get a 3 game suspension for saying that?

The more I read about that, the crazier it all seems.

Also, Nigeria called up Bright Dike from the Timbers and Cameroon called up Franck Songo'o from the same. Surprise callups for me considering the historical quality (in the last 2 decades at least) of both of those teams. Songo'o less surprising than Dike, but whatever. Good sign for the league.

Guessing some of these countries will do it just to take a runner on a guy who won't cost much to fly in for a friendly (it's in Miami). Ghana did that with Nyarko and Oduro in Phildelphia earlier this year--- not sure if they'll ever feature again, but at least they get a look.

That is some crazy story, like something from Cops or other reality tv.
