It seems like Chinese Super League is trying to get to English viewers. This Guangzhou Evergrande vs Beijin Guoan has a non-Asian ref as the main ref and English commentary. Since when did Non-Asians ref Chinese Super League games as the main ref?
Are you sure the ref in non-Asian? They have exclusively used Asian refs from what I could see, but many times they are Caucasian Asian refs (maybe from Uzbekistan, Australia, etc.)
Could be that some of our shit referees are getting experience in other leagues so that other leagues can see they aren't the only ones with shit refs
I think that all of the refs for CSL were from the AFC. However I found it strange that they did not get FIFA refs from outside of China, but every foreign ref I saw was just a national referee.
i found it a bit strange that AFC doesn't use european refs, which are much higher standard than the one AFC produces. maybe AFC wants to promote their own products, but they need to know the viet/thai refs CSL using are pretty shitty.
Ha. Yep. I've noticed mistakes. But let's be honest ntg... all refs make mistakes. But it's sad seeing them perform their jobs sadly. Maybe I'm soft. Anyway, I hope maybe I can commentate on a Chinese Super League game.. as English (or Spanish) announcer. Sad thing is that you have to know someone from the inside -- or so I heard.
not sure what your education is and what network you have in the broadcasting industry that is related to CSL. good luck. i dun mind doing that job if i am qualified, but people will complaint my caribbean-accent english, southern dialect mandarin, and extremely-biased commenting (especially on liu jianye, li yi, zhao peng, and qatar national teams lol)
Dropped out of college (from CompSci) for financial reasons but HS diploma. Literally zero broadcasting network so.... like I said... I gotta get to know people. Either way, of course. Commentators are biased. Most of them are. You can tell by their town. I'd be baised with Guangzhou Evergrande and the Chinese NT but you can tell from others... they get really excited when they make a play and score.
On soccerway it has the ref as Aussie Adam Kersey - a relatively new ref (2nd match was Wgtn Nix vs Brisbane Roar about three weeks ago). He's not as bad as some others... so far.
