True, but we did just lose 3 finals with Heynckes so I don't think that they like him just because we are winning right now.
Juup seems like a real nice guy and gets along easily with everyone. While LvG was in town there were obvious friction with players like Lucio, Lucatoni, Demichelis, Ribery and Gomez. With Juup he has a "Lahm-ish" kind of way of getting along with everyone
Or they can add 2 more teams in the Bundesliga so that more young players get experience in the top league. The Premier League, La Liga and Serie A all have 20 teams.
That won't necessarily guarantee that more young players will get more experience in the BL. I'm undecided as to whether the BL should consist of 20 teams especially because it would shorten the winter break and it can be viewed as a significant advantage for German teams compared to the rest. Ligue 1 also has 20 teams.
Bild: It will be Heynckes' most difficult task to integrate Mario Gomez back into the team. Kalle: "I'm curious about that, too. We have two striker in Mario Mandzukic and Claudio Pizarro that have met expectations. Pizarro is probably the best foreign striker the league has seen in the past ten years. Mandzukic works very hard for the team and leads the league in scoring. Mario Gomez is under pressure. It's going to be interesting to see how it turns out." http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/k...e-keinen-dortmunder-kaufen-27123920.bild.html
Lets see, Gomez needs to have confidence. I'm sure he'll only come on as a sub at first, hopefully he'll make use of that. Mario mand. is nowhere near the quality to be a direct starter.
At least it's partially during the NT break but it sure is a setback. Especially as he was in brilliant shape but considering his major injured times at Hamburg and Manchester I was wondering how healthy he was at Bayern München.
Anyone impressed with our goals conceded this year? What is it 4 in 11 games... 2 of them both COMPLETE FLUKES from that lucky looserkusen game.. It really should've been 2 in 11 games. Still not bad right?
Sure do... So despite those. Anyone impressed with our defense this year? What was the change from last year? Dante? Boetang evolving?
Well both count, but I'd say Boateng has been Bayern's best CB this year. It's mostly a lot of rotation which allows Bayern midfield and attack to help the defense so much. That's why the coach should keep doing it.
Just thinking if we get first. It's going to be the toughest CL R16 in a very long time.. Last year we went through Basel and Marsaille before we hit Madrid in the semis... This year if things play out as it stands; We could face Chelsea, Arsenal, PSG, Milan, Celtic, Madrid, Galatarasay and that's just the first round.... It's going to be a long tough road to the end. I really hope we get easy draws if possible We just have to make 1st
If we can't beat the likes of Arsenal, Milan, Celtic and Galatarasay we don't deserve to win the CL !!!! PSG, Madrid and Chelsea could be tough, but nothing we can't handle as well ... You're overestimating a lot of these teams ... Besides, We'll face Cluj in the R16,
If Bayern doesn't have their heads up their ass, the only teams that it could go either way is Madrid & Chelsea. That's 2/8, 25% chance of getting either of those two teams. Otherwise it should be business as usual.
Sure, but Chelsea and Madrid would be two extremely physically and mentally demanding games and if we get past them we still have to go through two more ko rounds. I think everyone would like to avoid that.
