Seriously? 9 goals by 4 different players over 12 games and you don't find that underwhelming. Especially when it's their job to score. I'm pleased as punch that the rest of the team has been scoring because if they weren't we wouldn't be in the position we're in. Those forwards should be kissing Vidal's feet. Or at least watch what he does and learn something.
Make that 10 goals. Not underwhelmed at all as this is the style of this team. Unlike others that depend on a few players.
You know what, I'm done with this argument because it's clear that there are some on here that think this team is fine the way it is. This line of thinking will ensure we'll stay competitive in Serie A, but little else.
And then there is the line of thinking that there are magical players out there who can make a difference. They are not there and the limited few are not available. And Quags makes it 5. FORZA Juve strikers. They look Cavanese today.
This is what they call a "statement game." Also, this is the kind of match they have all the time in the EPL where the big-name strikers run up their stats on bottom-feeders. Hard to think of another club in Serie A that would do a Watford-esque roll over like this. Because most clubs in Serie A weren't recently coached by Zeman...
If there is striker to point fingers at, think about who has missed out on this 9-goal fest the last three halves.
In this one game Quags is tied with Vidal for top scorer of the team and has the most goals out of all the forwards.
One more goal and Quagliarella is world class. Weiss does not look happy to come onto this match for Pescara.
