Brad Guzan starts, while Eric Lichaj is not in the 18 - presumably due to the injury which knocked him out of last week's match.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Stevens; Weimann, Ireland, Bannan, Westwood; Agbonlahor, Benteke.

Manchester United: De Gea; Rafael, Ferdinand, Smalling, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Scholes, Young; Rooney, Van Persie

Lichaj picked up his 5th yellow card last week so he is suspended.

Big game for Stevens on his full Prem debut (?)

Guzan has rarely been tested and is usually playing clean up detail.

Wow. Beneteke is a horse. He makes Smalling blush then passes on as Weimann hits it one timer and scores a stunner. 1 - 0 Villa

Good half for Villa. They defended well and looked dangerous anytime they attacked quickly. Brad didn't have that much to do.

Villa score again! Unreal. 2 - 0 Villa.

Gabby hits Weimann making a far post run and he slams it home.

Is Guzan playing??? The camera hasn't panned that side of the field so I don't know! :D ;)

Dammit, I jinxed Brad. I need to apologize. That damn Little Pea Hernandez gets a ball over the top amd slips it under and on rushing Guzan. Nothing he could there.

    2-1 Villa 60th minute

Hernandez scores for United. 2 - 1 Villa still lead.

Guzan got nutmeg'd. Really good finish though.

    Sonofabitch!!! 2-2 65th min.

Little Pea again. Ball played far post, from right side, and he's unmarked with 3 defenders in front of him, amd he slams home a volley. It took a deflection and it might be ruled an O.G. but he was f'ing wide open.

Chicharito gets the better of each fullback on the goals.

Hernandez scores again! Stevens was poor defending the cross... Hernandez volleys it and it deflects off Vlaar, at the near post, into the net.

    2 -2 now.

Manchester United look like they could win this. Guzan might be busy.

Stevens is having a performance that might not keep Lichaj out. He played Hernandez onside for the first goal and was poor in his defending on the second goal.

Man, Guzan couldn't do anything on those two RVP shots, luckily they just hit the woodwork.

Yep. I couldn't tell who lost Hernandez, but it was somebody with a "9" on their shirt. Unfortunately for Stevens, there is only 1 Aston Villa player with that number on the field.

    3-2 Man Utd 88th minute

Little Pea has graduated to Big Pea. AV defender gets on the wrong side of him off a free kick from RVP and he nods home from close range. Piss poor defending. Horrendous, really.
