Finally got my FoxSoccer2Go subscription working and saw the derby! Overall, I was disappointed in the result. Our goal was lucky and I'd say Hibs looked a little better for the most part, especially Leigh Griffiths. That kid can go at it! Nice to see that Hearts are not happy with the way they played either.

Tied for first at the moment but we'll see how long that lasts...

Oh noes! Ridgers went and scraped a knee! And just like that, we have a replacement. Sure hope he gels instantly with the team. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Losing a lead in the final minute....feels like I'm supporting the Crew in different kits :/

    Europa League Playoff Game 1
TV: Foxsoccer2go on demand available on 8/23/12 at 11:59 pm ET.

Steven Gerrard says he's gonna take out his frustrations on Hearts for playing crappy game in the EPL. Sounds like misplaced anger to me but ok Stevie. You go ahead and vent. Show Liverpool that you're heading towards retirement age and I'll see you in LA next season! If Liverpool keeps up their bad form, Hearts may actually have a shot at this.

I hope, for the sake of Scottish football, that Hearts put up a better fight than they did against Spurs last season.

Very tough match nonetheless but with John McGlynn managing the team I'm quietly confident that this will be a closer affair. Would be one heck of a result if they managed to go to Anfield with a lead.

Appreciate your support. Given the way Liverpool sucked it up in the EPL, I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. I know the game has played already but I just got back from LA Galaxy's CONCACAF Champions' League Match so I'm just now watching the game.

It was Midlothian-Heart-breaking to lose 1-0 on an own goal after playing some extremely competitive footy with Liverpool's B-side. Hearts definitely did not embarrass Scottish Football. However, I think chances for advancement in Europa are slim to nil.

I'd love to see some quotes from the team to see what they have to say but so far only Liverpool's sites have any articles about the game.

    Europa League Playoff Game 2
Time: AUG 30th, 3:05 PM ET
TV: none that I'm aware of

Do we go all out for this and try for an upset or save our boys to get some W's and stop messing around with all these ties in the SPL games? I vote go all out. Liverpool are still looking shaky. Hell, let's go for it!

I hope Hearts do have a right go but even then, it'll take either a big dose of luck or an extremely inept performance from Liverpool for Hearts to progress.

I hope Hearts win, but injure their entire squad in the process.

Keeper should have had it. That's all I have to say. Well....that and we didn't really deserve to win but still that was a weak goal to give up!

    Hearts 0 Dundee 1

Hearts give a gift in the second minute then waste chances all game against Dundee. FO release statement on transferring Templeton to Rangers. I say good call. Better money now than nothing in January.

Kilmarnock @ Hearts - 10 AM (ET) Saturday

Andy Webster returns this week from injury. Haven't beat Kilmarnock in last 5 meetings. Once again, game not on FoxSoccer2go :(. Guess I'll watch the Celtic vs. Motherwell game.

Hearts @ Celtic - 7:45 AM (ET) Saturday

Which is 4:45 AM my time (yay). The good news? This one is on Foxsoccer2go. The bad news? We are going to lose. If you feel strongly opposed to this last statement, put money on Hearts. The payoff is 9 to 1.

And lose we did. Too bad that Hearts is so impotent in the first season in a very long time when there is a chance at the title. Celtic will still win it, but I bet a few clubs challenge them.

I know right? That was frustrating to watch them squander some real chances. Celtic were by far the better team but a goal was not out of the question for Hearts.

    Hearts vs. Motherwell
    Sunday, Oct 21st 7:35 (ET) on Foxsoccer2go.com

We have a chance to come withing a point of Motherwell with a victory at home. Hopefully they don't play like they did against Celtic.

Grinded out a 1-0 win off an absolutely beautiful goal from Grainger, who also played great D all game. Yet still, the scoring issues continue as no forward or midfielder really had a good shot on goal.

Hearts may play their last game Nov. 17th...

    Oh noes :(

How frustrating it must be to play in the SPL where the risk of your employer going out of business or being relegated to 4th tier is high.

That's really a pathetic state of affairs over a not so big bill. It's my sincere desire that something like that doesn't happen, especially considering their backing.
