I wouldn't expect it to, just a freak challenge.

Me and the other guy were sprint flat out at each other as the loose ball was between us, came together with a big ol' block challenge and his studs caught in my laces as we both followed through. Never happened to me before, dont expect it to do so again.

Just hoping i'll be able to repair them strong enough that it'll take the strain from the laces and i can carry on using them.

Just finished my attempt at repairing my Neos.

Looks alright i think, stands out a bit but i dont think it'll be as noticable when the laces are back in there, feels pretty solid, quite a bit stiffer than the rest of that area thanks to the extra piece of leather inside. I'm going away this weekend though so i'll have to wait until next Sunday to see if they hold up ok or whether i'm going to have to find me some new boots.

Ok guys, quick question- I have th option of getting some boots soon. I want the new CR Mercurials, but I'm not sure whether to also get (non Japanese) Morelias, or (non Japanese) Neos.
Can I get a comparison of the two- Morelias vs. neos? Weight doesn't really worry me, I have the Morelia clubs (lowest tier...?) and they're one of my favourite boots actually.
    Thnx in advance!

From what I've heard, Rakuten or dosoccer would be your best bet, but I've never used it myself personally.

If you are not concered with weight then definitely go for the Morelias. Here are some good reviews and a comparison. Also there links to the cheapest prices for the boots.

They are very difficult to find and very expensive. Your best bet is to try rakuten since dosoccer is not doing anymore international orders until January 2013.

I just checked Rakuten and there are no UL's in a size 26.5 available.

The only thing I can think of is wait until 2013 for Dosoccer and hope they don't run out or you could try a different boot like the Morelia II or Morelia Wave.

I've been wearing a pair of the Indonesian Neos since release(ordered from PDS) and I'm still amazed at the condition they're in. I've had them for about 7 or 8 months at this point and other than the sole being pulled off the toe on the left boot slightly, and that's only due to dragging my toes to slow down and primarily playing on turf, they're still in fantastic condition.

I have the green ones, probably going to order a pair of the black for the spring, unless a new colorway shows up that I like.

I honestly can't recommend them enough. By far the best boot I've ever worn, and I've worn a ton of different boots in the last decade. I don't know if I'll ever want to wear a different boot.

Does anyone know where I could get a pair of sonic club 3 AS from in the uk? They are on mizuno a website but they don't ship. Can find a few places abroad but don't wanna get stung on import tax again. Apart from that I can't find them.

Problem is the import tax. its not the value of the tax its the admin fees the postal companys add for paying the tax first.

I got stung nearly £40 from DHL when i got my SSWs from japan. and only £8 of that was tax.

If you prefer better touch (as a ctr wearer) then definitely the SuperSonic is your boot! ;)
also remember (if you cant try them somewhere) that you must go half size down from your nike size. :alien:

Not enough k-leather in terms of thickness, but it's fair enough given the lightweight. I also love it's suede heel liner and conical stud pattern, the sock liner is rubbish though, and the soleplate is a little bit too soft. Will pick this over the leather adizero but the vapor 8 is definitely the best by far in speed boot category. But overall i'm quite impressed by such a lightweight k-leather shoe.

anyone knows the weight of the mizuno morelia 2's?

I'm asking cause I was wearing a pair of Adipowers in a game, before swapping them over at half time and realised how light my morelia's felt, and how low to the ground they made me feel. So just curious to their weight.
