what do you want me to discuss then? Fiorentina are doing well, and are one of the stories of the season till now.Plus too much of our past is there. Ofcourse, I am paying attention for them like everyone else is doing. And I also give attention to other teams . I never felt i discuss fiorentina more in other teams thread then other sides. When Lazio were looking good i talked about hernanes/klose, now that inter are doing well I am talking on there 10 game run...

I also dont understand what city have to do with this thread? Dont you support jew-tottenham? Is it wrong to support a team in a different league ( which btw, is mainly due to my hate to united).

I linked you to a thread going back to May 2011 ( http://www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=259638 ) ,It was rumoured since our new owners came here that they wanted an american player to be signed ... You can call me all the name calling you want, but thats right there the proof to you that my opinion isnt based on nothing. The news was there from day 1.
And to me until now, it seems zeman has had other preferences in midfield then bradley.. who been more of a bench player imo.It doesnt seem to me bradley was zeman signing.

You want me to go in this bradley discussion on and on, but it will get nowhere...

You can talk about whatever you like darling. Nobody was saying you couldn't. I'm just saying it's pretty obvious when you pay extra attention to Fiorentina you have an agenda. Which this thread is partially about.

Wow really..... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that.

Anyways I find it hilarious that you latch onto the newest sugar daddied club. I support Tottehnam and Roma and have done for decades, not because either club bought a lot of new shiny players and distorted the market, confirming my opinion which gets repeated dozens of times "You don't win anything with kids". Which might be true but personally

Shocking DiB when asked a question by MLS.com about American players he said they were looking at American players. Knowing that website they tend to ask questions which are coming from an American scope. It doesn't surprise me that an American player was signed, what I don't buy is that anyone at the club thought said player would be a cash cow. Especially Bradley of all players, if they wanted to make money they should have tried for Donovan. Americans haven't been buying Bradley shirts in mass like when Donovan goes on loan to Everton. Maybe it's just me because I don't hate him but there's footballing reasons for the purchase of Bradley, I think he's already shown this.

I always said he be a rotation midfielder with a chance to get himself more starts. Bradley has been injured most of the time at Roma, still he's started 3 matches. First match didn't go so well, the other two much better. I don't expect him to be starting but rotating especially when nobody has claimed a guaranteed starter spot in the midfield.

We dont have to agree all the time.....Regards Bradley, he has changed a lot of peoples minds in terms of his character and effort, seems truly a humble person and one you want to fight beside you...Bit I don't think anyone is hating him now? Some posters may have been pissed he was our main midfield signing I guess...

Regards the hate on Borini, I don't see why he gets its? well I do, some people read some shitty little rumour he wanted to leave and take it for gospel....Come on, lots of stories are peddled and I dont believe for once second any of the crap Borini didnt get on with the squad etc...just hateful rubbish...I like the kid and hope he recovers 100% and has a great career, its a shame how he its started at Liverpool..

When I first joined this I read a lot of bullshit, posters openly saying it would be wiseful thinking if Totti would willing leave roma and join an MLS team...Others hoping he was dropped for good...Now if you want to show disrespect, nothing beats that.

I still don't like the fact no names have been mentioned. If you wanna make a thread and call people out, start naming names of who it is pissing you off so you can deal with it, or don't bother opening that can of worms in the first place.

Personally I like Bradley. I knew he'd be a strong signing as his attitude is near perfect, many of our higher paid players can learn from him.

But I agree with Henchag in that there is a tone of resenemtnet towards Montella and a few other ex-Roma players on here who deserve better.

From my view I like to see almost every ex-Roma member do well, even the likes of Greco, Bovo, Rosi etc. There are the few like Mexes or Chivu who left under false disguises and in Chivu's case openly ridicule the fans post-Roma.

Vucinic had his reasons for leaving and he was a great player, I loved Vucinic as a Roma player. He kept quiet about leaving and we got 15m euros as a result. Not once did Vucinic open his mouth as a Roma player saying he wanted to leave and he as far as I know has disrespected the club since he departed. He left and his agent done all the talking. I am still a huge admirer of Vucinic to this day.

There are the likes of Emerson, Zebina and Capello who leave under false pretenses and they deserve respect for their achievements in a Roma shirt but beyond that they deserve nothing.

Just to be clear I'm a Montella fan, I wasn't sure of him for the Roma job because I feared nepotism but I like him. I hold no ill will from most former players.

I didn't want Montella to join this summer, because I thought he wasn't ready and there were a lot of his friends who were still at the club. And even now, he is reaping the rewards of a fine transfer market Fiorentina has had. You said that Catania's success last year was all Montella, but they seem to be doing even better now. My opinion is that he has the potential to be a good coach, but he'll never be one of the best until he lets go of the past. He will never fail with any club because he plays "smart" football, but he will also never make some club go that extra mile because he plays too safely.

He has them playing some very exciting football, some of the best in Italy. I dont get your point at all, it obviously takes something to gel a whole new team and he has a way with people.

I didnt want him back so soon either, out of the options posted at the time I could only pick Guidolin as a realistic option but to say Montella only plays smart football i a majot discredit and unfair imo.

I never understood the fascination with AVB and to this day still don't see it really. Then when Zeman became an option, I couldn't believe out luck to have him back

I watched a few Fiorentina games this season and I was bored out of my mind. Most of that exciting football you talk about comes from sparks created by Jovetic and Ljajic.

Well I watched them play some fantastic football and not just sparks at all. Given time to really click they could become something great

Ok...I think I may have provoked this thread by my comments on montella, although I may be wrong. First, I have never said that I hate montella. He's been my idol during his Roma days and I even followed him to EPL when he went there on loan due to being surplus to requirements at Roma. But, I've never been impressed by him as a coach and I do have the right to have such an opinion. First, he did nothing special with Roma after Claudio was fired, if you don't believe just have a quick look at his stats under Roma. Second, he inherited a Catania side who regularly performed well with the rising star in the team in the face of Gomez. By the way last season was not hugely different for Catania from the previous ones, can have a look at their standings and points earned from the previous seasons - they have qualified neither to CL nor to EL, have not excelled in the Italian cup either...even this season they look better to me then under montella, so does it mean that their current coach is a genius? Third, montella went to Fiorentina who have had one of the most interesting transfer campaigns of the season in serie a (damn you Prade), and again inherited a top player in top form, who has excelled for all the seasons he has played so far...Did he do anything special? Fiorentina sit just above us in the table, and probably have not won a single top match so far (I'm sorry if I'm mistaken). Would the Roma fans be pleased with such performance? Probably not, as we always aim for top 3, so you praise him just because he is not managing us and somehow (and erroneously so) consider current Fiorentina to be an inferior team to Roma...in the end, I loved montella as a player, but I still don't respect him as a coach. And I don't share all the praise you have for him for his achievements with Catania or Fiorentina, for the reasons stated above...

What concerns players, I loved them all at Roma, especially the likes of Vucinic and Mexes, but I hate them the most now, especially the ones I loved the most and then left so disgracefully...as for borini, I wouldn't mind him back, but I really don't care much, as long as Lamela has taken his place so beautifully...and I don't hate him at all and never wish him bad unless he joins Lazio, Juve, Inter, Milan, Fiorentina or Napoli :)

And probably a couple of players I have never hated for leaving are Aquilani. Cafu, Emerson, Samuel...and Loria for obvious reasons :)

If you show your ass,you are worthy of getting disrespect from the fans.I really hate those people and wish them to fail in life.It really hurts the fans the way Vucinic,Mexes and others treated the club after their departure.

I think Vucinic gets painted too much as a criminal on here. Yes he made the ultimate betrayal by going to Juve but at the end of the day his Roma performance dropped dramatically after the incident between his pregnant fan and the Roma ultras. I hated him as well when he first left and then didn't have the balls to travel the first time Juve came to Rome after his transfer but after seeing him stand up for Florenzi in the hammering we got in Turin, I've let my hate for him go.

If he moved abroad I'd gladly still cheer for him. Would rather him go to a club that actually has history like Madrid, but I wouldn't hate him for going to others.

If he joined Milan or Juve he'd be dead to me though. But I could never see him doing that anyways.

I tend to agree with you, any team in Italy would be a disaster. I also think the circumstances matter a lot. Did he force it, was he blind sided, or was it mutual? We as fans may never know the full truth of his transfer, if it were to occur.

DDR is a true Roman. The club may ditch him but he won't. Even if he moves to any other club, his heart will always beat for Roma.
