I am starting to get annoyed by many posters here, alot of people who gave alot to roma get treated like shit this days. I dunno why, any players who leaves us...people want him to fail badly, people who gave alot or even little ( borini).

People want Montella to fail, I dont know why. Because maybe it makes current management look bad if he is succeeding, but the guy gave alot to the roma shirt. Add borini, people want him to fail.. despite he gave us good time here.. but he succeeds current managements looks bad.
I am starting to hate this mentality over here.

Good thing, there is no hate on spalletti at least.

I've been very vocal about certain players based on how they leave. For me when a guy gives his heart for the shirt I will respect him forever, but when they leave on bad terms like Vucinic or Mexes for I will trash them like the dogs they are. Same goes for Pizarro, I liked the little guy, his first season or two he drove me crazy as he would misplace passes and consistently have the ball taken away, but then he grew into one of the best little registas. Then he ditched the team and basically wiped his ass with the shirt in my eyes and I will hate him. As for Montella, nothing but love. No real feelings about Borini, I like him while he was here, and now that he's with Liverpool I don't really care, as he never really made a huge impact on me, but I wish him the best. So I don't know if I might be one of the few you're mentioning but that's how I feel about those specific players, when they disrespect the shirt I lose respect for them. Most others I hold dear in my heart.

Just use the ignore user options for people that you find takes away from your experience on the boards. I have been using it more and more lately. You can still see the IGNORED USER comments if you chose to show them. If someone starts to actually sound intelligent or seems to have changed I un- ignore them.

I dont like to put people on ignore cause I disagree with them. But I like to know why many legends of us are always thrown under the bus by fans here. I feel alot of people insult our history at times without even noticing.

I dont do it with people I disagree with, I do it to people who make stupid comments all the time or people who bring up the same crap over and over again.

I dislike Mexes and Vucinic for obvious reasons and want Borini to fail because he went to Loserfool. Also, I don't see how any Roma fan could still like Pizarro after how he has treated our club.

He would fly back to Chile, without getting permission from the team, how is that not wrong?

    Hating ex-players is wrong.

Hating current players is apparently just fine.

This, I had problems with people who were shitting on the club and its current players constantly. Also for the sake of it, since you (Henchag) made this thread where you wanna call people out, I think you should say who exactly it is you have a problem with rather than just complaining.

Its not hating, its criticizing current players. I did it on montella when he was earning high wages and sitting on our bench. But after they leave, I remember them for what good they gave us.And they gave more positives then negatives.I remember his 4 goals vs lazio, then him earninig high wages and sitting on the bench period.

I dont mind hating on nobodies or people who did us no good, like sven goran eriksson, luis enrique or or or... you can fill any name u want. People who were part of our darker history..
but people who were of our brighter history, or gave alot to this company should not be treated like shit.

Yeah Michael Bradley would disagree. That's not criticism, he started 1 down with most fans here.

TBH I don't think much of Vuci, Mancini, or Borini but Pizarro was a drama queen and Mexes's contract got lost with the confusion and jeopardy surrounding the club.

I don't think Mexes knew AC Milan was going to become a shadow of themselves, he actually thought he was bettering himself ;)

No one wants bradley to fail, we are just being critical on it being a signing for marketting reasons.I hope he leaves us with good memories . I had similar doubt on nakata( who spent lot of time on bench for us), but he gave us a very important goal in torino vs juve for the scudetto title.I wouldnt remember nakata for marketting, rather for his goal vs juventus.

You say there is problem hating on current people, the main reason actually is why past people who gave alot to us are being hated is because of the failures the current management or players are experiencing compared to them. ( what I pointed in my first post). This is what I am actually disliking, relating the two issues and I pointed it in my first post. Alot of people here hate on the people who gave alot to us , for nobodies who gave nothing to this club or are giving nothing. Like Montella vs Enrique.

You wanna hate, hate on enrique borriello ( he is still our player with mega shit wages ) eriksson ( who destroyed our bright era) ...

I think the Montella bashing overall has gone down a lot since he's faced Juve this season. And I think only a couple people ever said anything negative about Borini. I'd honestly take him back tomorrow if he was available. People have to realize Liverpool would basically be a relegation battle team right now without Suarez, so you really can't blame Borini for playing with a garbage team.

This is complete utter toss. Just like this thread where you decided out of the blue to bash other Roma fans and in the same thread claim we're lacking in respect. You might has well titled the thread, "Roma fans who don't think like me are dicks and here's why".

Anyone who thinks Bradley was signed for marketing reasons is talking out of his ass. I don't want to hear this bull about you not wanting Bradley to fail, yet you drop this little snide remarks about him being a marketing signing every time his name is mentioned. I believe if Bradley could crash and burn without damaging the team you'd be well pleased so you can stand on your high horse and say I told you so.

I don't think you realize what an asinine position that is to suggest when you're talking about an American soccer player. It's so irrelevant and wouldn't make any marketable difference for a club trying to increase its profile in America. Besides Roma fans and American soccer fans which is a niche market nobody knows Bradley to an extent that singing him would justify the investment of over €5m. Do you think Bradley being on the tour generated €5m in additional revenue. It's clear that he was bought for footballing reasons and he's proven to be adequate depth already.

Did you ever stop to consider maybe some of us are patient and are trying to give players a chance before we pile on them and call them failures that can't make the grade? Remember your crusade against Osvaldo, how'd that work out? Each Roma fan has their own opinion of previous regimes and that was built over years. Of course their opinion would be stronger and with more clarity than players who just arrived who haven't been given the opportunity to prove themselves yet. What do you expect?

I personally don't like to hold grudges. With both my clubs there's only one player I truly dislike and I won't mention his name. To that same token I can't see the point of dumping on current players at every opportunity. That to me is just as disrespectful.

yeh sure I want him to fail to come out here and say "I told you so" ... that will make me a millionaire and give me a good image from people who havent seen my face neither know my name. You are acting like a clown every time we discuss bradley. Your too sensitive about this issue.I dunno why if anyone criticizes another player, your not as much eager to defend like bradley. And it was well known since last year roma wanted to sign an american player ( http://www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=259638 ) ... and giuseppe rossi name was circulating around.
Anyway, The bradley issue has gone out of hand, and I want reply more to it.

For what it's worth Bradley was signed for 3.5 million not 5 million.

Also the only American, aside from an injured Giuseppe Rossi, who could signed without using a non-EU spot.

I was including salary and assuming he'd be here at least 2 years, so the investment would be around €5m.

Of course that's what you want to do, that's all you do Captain Hindsight. Like with all the stuff about Montella and Prade at Fiorentina. I see you've paid extra attention to them for some odd reason which in no way has anything to do with an agenda. You have a hard on for clubs sucking the oil teet, so now you seem to be supporting Money City. I'm acting like a clown?

I love that you actually think your discussing Bradley rather than sh-tting on him every time his name is mentioned. I defend him because I find much of what you say about him toss having followed him since he was knee high to a grasshopper. I know that you're talking out of your ass. It's not sensitivity I just find much of what you say to be rather ignorant and bias. You have your own little world of why everything happens.

As for defending B-Brad, I don't know enough about Tachtsidis to go to bat for him when people dump on him, neither do I know much about Marcos, Castan, Piris, etc. Still if you check I still do try to offer counter opinion. Like when you shat on before he ever played a match

Also lets not make it out like I'm the one being sensitive considering the topic of this thread, Mr. You Guy Are Jerks To Former Players.
