We need to get Frankfurt off our back and get them back to ground..

We have to continue our winning streak here!

I would prefer the same lineup as against Lille with Kroos instead of Muller

Robben needs to play and sharpen his scoring

I could see Robben playing as well as Kroos, Gustavo.
Pizarro has earned at least one more start, btw.

I wouldn't doubt even if Ribery were to sit in favor of Shaqiri, but with such a high profile game and a statement of intent needing to be made, I say start Franck then rest him in the 65th.

Back 4 needs to remain intact as it is gelling nicely. Badstuber I feel for, but in honesty, his injury and Alaba resuming to full fitness has a perfect transition with little speed bumps.

Quite pleased with how soon Robben slotted in as well.

I would give Martinez another run-out from the start.

Was on numerous occasions on the wrong side on his opponent during the Lille game, and doesn't quite look at home yet.

Mandzukic, Kroos + Shaqiri in please. Lets keep the rotation, no reason to stop now when it's been so successful.

I will agree. I think Martinez IMHO played his best match against Lille on Wednesday. Quality stuff from him. I would like to see him fitting in more with the team.

Well playing Mandzukic and Kroos wouldn't really be considered rotation. Maybe based on the last game, but not the season until now. Mandzukic and Kroos have been two of the most started players on our team.

That's what I mean. Rotation based on a 2 games/week course. Keep the rotation train rolling so the players keep being so fresh/fit.

If our defense holds up we'll win this one.

Frankfurt's defense is average at best and starting CB Zambrano is out with injury. We'll get a couple goals if our finishing isn't abysmal (which is, unfortunately, a possibility).

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Shaq given a stint at AM or LW.

And by stint starting 2 games in a row.

I noticed that too. He made some good blocks, some neat passes and was very comfortable when in possession. But when asked to recover possession, he usually commits a foul by tackling from behind or bundling into the opponent. I'm guessing that'll improve with regular match practice.

Considering this is a valuable match to give us some breathing room in the table I'd like to see our strongest lineup.

I'd go with Kroos at AM for possesion retention purposes. The less amount of time Inui, Aigner, Meier and co. have the ball the far greater our chances of taking 3 points are.

Also, Pizarro looked totally winded during the last part of the Lille match. I'd start Mandzukic in this one despite Pizarro scoring a hat trick last match so that we can keep both our strikers fit and fresh.

What I'd send out if I was Herr Osram -

    -------------------Mandzukic
    Ribery--------------Kroos--------------Robben
    ---------Schweinsteiger-Martinez
    Alaba---------Dante-----Boateng-------Lahm
    ----------------------Neuer

Shaqiri, Muller, and Pizarro as impact subs if needed.

Tymo to rest Schweini if we have a comfortable lead.

930 am goltv...got the dvr set....hammer job tomorrow. I want to demoralize Frankfurt and put them on their way down the table and out of Europe. They would be terrible in CL and probably not much better in EL....

they could potentially handle Europa if they were to qualify... they would also have 2 transfer windows between now and then to address or strengthen issues/depth
