YES! The Sounders finally get it done. I agree with Yoshou this one was ugly, but I don't care. The Sounders make it to the conference finals! I told you guys they had this. It's kind of funny here I wanted the Sounders to finish 3rd so they would have a better chance at a berth in the CCL and SJ and SKC both go down and it's the Sounders who hold the chance for a berth in their own hands (in addition to qualifying for the MLS cup of course). Guess I should have had more faith in the good guys. One round down, two more to go.
It wouldn't be 1-nil seattle series win if it was vs LA. Seattle could still had won but wouldn't been a shutout. Saunders is not a rimando
Phew. It wasn't much fun to watch, but it was worth it in the end. Martinez sure scores some spectacular goals.

LA can finish goals. RSL had a lot of chances today.. If our defense allows those chances against LA, I 'm not sure we can keep them goalless.
Yeah, LA has multiple quality finishers, especially with the way that Juninho has been playing this season. Outside of Sabo, I can't name a guy who I you could count on to finish quality chances for RSL. Espindola is a great creator of chances but a very unreliable finisher.
First we were the team that couldn't score a playoff goal, then we were the team that couldn't win a playoff game, then we were the team that couldn't win a playoff series. No worries because if we don't win the Cup this year we will do it next season. However, we have won a trophy every season we have been in MLS. It's only fair that we continue the tradition.
I stand corrected. Great to see Mario step up and take that shot there are very few players in the MLS who could have hit that shot. Interesting to see if Rosales is ready on Sunday or if they decide to rest him. With him not making the bench last night I suspect the later.
It was going to take a wonder goal to get past Rimando and Mario delivered. And big games from Hurtado and Parke too.
Park had me a little nervous at the beginning but he really stepped it up after that. It was nice to see some people step up when we needed it last night to say the least. Now we just need Tiffert to have a break out game.
