Not sure it was brought up in other threads, but I think it might deserve its own thread nonetheless. That second yellow was one of the worst tackles I've seen all season, and had so much potential to break Pontius's leg. IMO Marquez should get at least 5 games for it, and personally I would give him 10.
He helps them lose. Unless I'm worried about him seriously injuring a DC player, I enjoy seeing him on the field since I know he's going to cost that team.
I hope he retires there, stays on to become the next coach, then owner and hopefully if he has a son, grows up to play for New Jersey keeping them in infinite purgatory.
Cooper would fit perfectly on our team. He's a bigger Pajoy who can score. BTW, ex-Metro Star and DC United defender Mike Petke is now the interim coach of the Heifers.
Cooper? Kenny Cooper? He's a Bovine Growth Hormone guzzling piece of trash who dives and misses penalties. No freaking thanks.
Yeah I agree. Most of Cooper's goals this year were tap ins set up from Henry. The rest were PKs He's no CF that would fit in our 4-5-1. I'd take Salihi over Cooper any day. Dax on the other hand would be perfect in our 4-5-1 as an alternative to either Kitchen or Saragosa
You guys are undervaluing what Cooper can bring to an attack. He's big, can't easily be moved off the ball, has good feet, and attacking instincts. Oh, I know, he's tainted with what was once called "Metrostink" (which was said about Mike Petke when he came here, before he became a fan favorite.)
Go to 3:00 and wonder at the terrifying awfulness of Kenny Cooper (and the Portland broadcast team too)(and the shambolically crappy officiating).
Why NYRB would even want him on their team is beyond me. Is there a huge contingent of Mexicans up there that they rely on for revenue?
It's amazing how much goodwill you can earn from a fanbase by scoring virtually the first time you touch the ball.
