There are some Houston fans already making plans to go to the game in KC on November 7.
I'll be there. We'll probably figure some meeting place pre-game for those who go.

I have a link for tickets in the away supporter section if anyone is interested. Message me and I'll fix you up. The deadline for those tickets is Monday, November 5 at 5 pm. After that they get released to the public in KC.

mod edit: red and bold for emphasis.

BTW, I'm not trying to keep the ticket link secret but I am trying to limit it to Houston fans so we can get a crack at some tickets rather than KC fans who might be looking.

I will not be there; however, I will be in KC starting on the 8th (yeah I know). So if anybody is around on the 8th or 9th send me a message and we will get a beer.

Also, I fly in late morning on the 8th, so if you are flying out around then, I will try and exchange a celebration high five as we cross paths.

No, we sadly suffer from the fact that it's a weekday game, and that we aren't as well-organized. I do have some peeps going from EB. There will be AT LEAST 50 of us. Maybe more.

Look I don't get this whole noodle time thing you wacky kids are into this days, but like dubstep I realize its not for someone of my generation. However, I will ask not to tempt the soccer gods with talk of future playoff levels that haven't been earned lest this trend go the way of the 'El Paso kid' incident. Otherwise a blood sacrifice will have to be made.....

OK Folks -- anyone wants a late Tuesday night BBQ dinner, about 830-9p, for some footy talk then let me know here and we will get something going. There are two of us right now.

Further, anyone that will be in town in time for lunch Wednesday, that can be coordinated, as well as I will be looking for a place near the stadium to go watch the SJE v LAG after our game.

Finally -- anyone wants to join me playing poker at the Hollywood Casino (1 mi from the stadium) I'll be playing late Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.

Reminder on hotels: Hampton Inn - Village West is like $129/ni. There is a Best Western next door that is less than $100/ni. Both hotels are literally across the street from LSP.

dude, I have mad reps for your traveling support but you intrigue me. Do you work? Are you retired? Independently wealthy? Have kids? A wife? A dog? How the hell do pull off all of these trips?

I mean, hell, you should just ask to be a gameday assistant with the team and work for free, since you are at every match anyway. Have you won Fan of the Year yet (seriously)? We should start calling you squid (as my HS coach used to explain) because you are all over the place. Again, serious props for the support for club and country.

I plan my year around these games. :) Wednesday night will be sooo much fun. Traveling a blast.

Wednesday night will be soo much fun. Second legs are the best. Remember FCD at Robertson? Remember Chivas as Robertson?

    I don't work for free.

well-free in terms of salary, you would travel with the team so that's compensation. Impressive nonetheless. I get one shot a year at an away game between work and wifey so I am putting all my eggs in us advancing to the conference final. Who the hell schedules the second leg on a Wednesday?

Had you been at the TA tailgate during the pre-match toast, you would have gotten goosebumps during the Toast Master General's playoff history toast! I believe the word used was Epic!
