Real Madrid - Borussia Dortmund Champions League match at the Santiago Bernabeu 20:45 (Madrid, Spain) Hi guys, I don't want to jinx the match but there is no post yet We believe we know the starting eleven based on the groups in today's training. Here it is: Iker Casillas, Álvaro Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Raúl Albiol, Modric, Ángel Di María, Mesut Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo, Álvaro Morata, Gonzalo Higuaín. Here are some clips from today's training, more on the way. We will post the press conference later.
Only matches in Germany are jinxed madridismoorg, you should be all clear for this one and in the event it does all go to Hell tomorrow we can still blame Chinky24 for procrastinating and not taking his duties seriously...in other words you're all good
Morata ha? Probably Essien in there for him. Should be the same one we started against Zaragosa.. Benz not available or something?
Haha thanks, Seems a long shot for Morata to play but he was grouped with what appeared to be the starters..
Sorry I have some papers to write and someone else volunteered to do this CL thread... I think my CL record is 1-1, and I'm undefeated in the league with only a draw away. So in college football terms, I'm still top 10 in BCS standings, and I may even get an outside shot at the BCS title.
I will be looking at getting at least 5 points from the next 3 games and seal our passage. We could do with getting this over with sharpish tho.
I expect only wins at this point with a 5-0 win at home. Anything less is unacceptable. fncking chinky you motherfcnk. i was hoping you would talk shit in this cl thread. regardless, benzoil is playing tomorrow so we should be fine.
Benz is supposedly not playing tomorrow, neither is Kaka. Varane on the other hand, will start according to Mou.
This thread needs a little bit of this... ..... and it needs Cris 09. Somebody say German douchebag three times to make him appear.
Shay Z Luftwaffe Luftwaffe Luftwaffe Look sorry guys if we lose or don't do as well as we'd like, I suppose I'll be doing all the threads from here on out.
Really excited for this match as I missed the first one. There should be no excuses tomorrow, and hope the team is ready for some revenge, because frankly anything short of a win would be extremely disappointing, and to some extent worrying.
Özil press conference in English: Our question to Özil (Gaëlle from Madridismo Org) minute 6:16 Mourinho press conference also in English: More training clips from this morning:
Wow, are they seriously going to make a big thing out of the whole 'vote for myself'-stuff? Some people would, some people wouldn't. What's the big deal?
Spanish press, can't stand them !! They just focus on making up conflicts and problems to write about instead of talking football. It's rediculous, if I were Real Madrid I would just shut some of them out of PR events, instead of putting up with their crap. We were waiting to talk to Juanfran today at the Real Madrid Ciudad expansion event where he participated in the ceremony and the guy from Marca jumped in front of us, grabbed some comments for their juicy headline adding to the current whole made-up youth team vs Mourinho vs Toril feud, published it and RM press boss called Juanfran and told him not to answer any more reporters.
You should see Croatian main actors in press conferences, this is literally nothing compared to clowns we have, both on the media and club's sides Anyway, 5-1 seems like a nice result, Borussia taking an early lead just to end up being crushed down. I'm a sadist that way, I like to see dreams and hopes crushed
So Benzema is out? That is not good. Let us hope that TONIGHT is the night that Higuain shows up against a difficult opponent.
The team: Keepers: Casillas, Adán, Jesús. Defense: Ramos, Varane, Pepe, Carvalho, Albiol, Arbeloa, Nacho. Midfield: Essien, Xabi Alonso, Modric, Álex, Özil, Kaká, Di María, Callejón. Attack: Cristiano Ronaldo, Higuaín.
