Cameron gets the start at right back. Edu is not in the squad. Game starts at 11 eastern and will be shown on delay on FSC at 5:30 eastern and live on foxsoccer2go.

I think it's safe to say Edu is behind freakin' Wilson Palacios now who until recently was in TP's doghouse... not lookin' good for Mo right now.

Does Edu even play soccer anymore? What else is there to do Staffordshire?

poor Edu, it looks like that dude needs to get loaned to the league below already. Ipswich were previously interested right? With the squad they have theyre woefully underperforming. But to be honest he'd be useful to a team all the way up to Wolverhampton right now, theyre desperate for a player like him.

He should have gone to France. Would have been better for him in many ways, but I would imagine it's hard to pass up the siren song of the EPL.

nzozi, adam are the worst midfield pairing in the EPL. Until one or the other is benched, this team is toast.

That and the money Stoke were offering him I'm sure. I don't get why he's not at least on the bench.

When Stoke is playing their "Style" well, the CMs don't really need to do much other than win tackles and hoof the ball forward. That's why Mo can't displace the likes of Whelan & Whitehead, never mind Nzonzi & Adam. Not a good situation for Mo.

This thread is full of the discussion that has nothing to do with the game being played. Do Stoke games actually get played? I have a feeling they just put a score up at the time the game is supposed to end and people go "yeah that seems about what I would have expected" and move on with their lives.

Jamooky I have to disagree. When Stoke are playing their best, those CM's are moving the ball vertically with accuracy very quickly. Nzonzi is not smart enough to pass quickly and Adam likes to look at himself in the gleam of the ball.

haha. Well, you say "vertically with accuracy". I say "hoof". We probably mean the same thing. Either way, I just wish Pulis would give Mo a chance.

Or get Cam back into the midfield where he is pretty good at what you say a Stoke CM should be.

Stoke played one of their best offensive games of the year with gCam at CM. He moved the ball centrally with pace and accuracy.

The only good thing coming out of this match was Whitehead was awful along with the rest of the midfield. Bad news is there are 745 other midfielders on this squad waiting to get on the field along with Mo... and unfortunately his debut vs Liverpool didn't really endear him to the fans or TP.

Did anyone really expect Mo to play a whole lot? He's not prem quality and thats as obvious as it gets. He picked the one team in the league that could care less about technique and he still isn't playing.

I'd argue some of the guys above him haven't really impressed enough to keep Mo from getting another shot... (looking at you Whitehead/Whelan) but I think the issue is that Nzonzi is the destroyer for now and in the eyes of the Stoke fans and management he can do no wrong... even if he has been unbelievably pedestrian the last few matches.

Yeah Stoke fans do love N'Zonzi, problem is he and Adam make a horrid combination.

I wouldn't want him in the Sounders midfield. He should consider a move to a lower league or embrace the central defender role.

what does this mean? Should he refuse to play when the coach lines him up at CB?
