not taking anything away from messi but i'll point out that every single time one of gerd mueller's goalscoring records fall its always to someone who played considerably more games.

Worst start to a season under Wenger. Another no show in a big match.

A draw for BVB, loss for Schalke. A win for us will put us back in a comfortable position.

He has no squad, no wonder why RVP wanted to leave. Podolski had a great start, but now is just doing nothing on the wing.

I feel bad for Cazorla more than anything. It was his choice to come to Arsenal but a player like that belongs at a better team.

I expect Cazorla to demand a move by season end.

Cos with Arsenal he would get further from the Spanish NT

another offside goal by Juve. Last week Catania had a proper goal disallowed than Juve scored a offside goal

Must be nice to be Juventus in Serie A, they tend to play with 12 to 13 players every match. No wonder they are undefeated there.

at this rate the way the referees give them a push every time things doesn't go their way i don't see how anyone in Seria A can defeat Juventus, together with Utd and Barcelona the most helped teams by the refs

lol ok. So what now if one team scores from an offside position we cannot mention it here or what? OK than wow Juve they are the best 50 games undefeated yeah Juve. I guess if we don't circle jerk on another team here than the discussion is not "normal"

I think Wenger has a horrible transfer policy, just abysmal. I was expecting that when you lose Song, Cesc, Nasri and rvp - 4 of the best. You buy 3 - 4 players to cushion that. He should've bought a couple more players.

Barcelona with a 3-1 win, Alba, what an amazing buy.

As for Villa, class is permanent. He's been out for a year, but is already barca's second high goalscorer.

Inter beat Juve to end their unbeaten run at 49.

Undone by the ageless Diego Milito.

Yea no matter what he still sticks to his prudent transfer policy. Hard to compete in the PL like that. Players like Cazorla make a difference but there is a significant drop off in quality when you replace the likes of VP, Nasri, Fabregas with players like Giroud, Podolski and Gervinho.

Arsenal are run like a business. They stay profitable and the owners (mostly) are happy with it.

Sad because they could be a great side if they were able to hold onto their best players.

Exactly, besides. Carzola can't start every game, its just not how it works. He'll get exhausted in a few months.

I was hoping Arsenal would buy Schurrle or something, but to no avail. Wenger and his horrible transfer policies.

Giroud is good, but only as a backup. He should've bought someone like Llorente or something.

They don't because they don't buy big names. Arshavin is the closest thing to it, besides Carzola - and he was destined to flop because he's not used to such a high level and playing out of position.

Schürrle, really? I'd rather have Podolski.
