2012 MLS CUP Playoffs [NCR] [R]

Watched the whole game. Was hoping Chicago would tie it up just for the entertainment value. Neither of these teams are winning it all anyways.

 

The game sucked. It was hardly entertaining. Tonight should be a lot better with LA/Van free flowing soccer. Watching Chicago and Houston play hold up soccer just bored the shit out of me.

 

I guess I should have said the game was on as I was on my laptop updating my resume and cover letter. So I "watched" but didn't really watch closely.

 

I tried to watch it but the pregame show was so long and boring that I fell asleep.

 

Only good thing that can possibly come about because of not being in the playoffs is if it is a catalyst for Firing Warzycha.

Regardless, it sucks not to be playing.

It would be interesting to see if any of their sponsors or GM will get on their fans for the "F San Jose" chant I just heard. (FWIW, it was the whole word -- not just the letter.)

 

Vancouver. Just what a disaster that team is. Forget they made the playoffs. They were basically the hottest team up until ASG. Then they gutted that team with terrible trades and player acquisitions. Scrapping Hassli is understandable, but picking up Kenny Miller. Kenny Miller?????!!!!! He can't hit the broadside of a barn while standing in front of it. Trading LeToux for Dane Richards is just baffling itself in which Richards is leaving for Burnley next season. Dumping Davide Chumiento, a malcontent of course, was just absurd. Vancouver paid the price for their incessant tinkering that I bet they won't even sniff the playoffs next year.

 

I'm sure the league will crack down by stopping beer sales in the area and installing bike racks around the section, oh wait that's just columbus.
