So if you go to the America one site its a bit confusing. There is nothing explaining what you get for $90. If you go by what comes up under each teams schedule you are led to believe that for a season of one teams home and away games will cost $90. Thats more than I paid for the MLS package last year and that Web HD quality. I really like to hear more about quality standards for these PASL webcasts. Syd????

I asked a similar question of Syd in a different posting but didn't get a response. It also appears that you can purchase individual games for $8.00 each.

Las Vegas is dominating so far tonight (5-0) in the 3rd period, but the broadcast is unlistenable. The play-by-play guy didn't know what a penalty was. The stats crew is not recording fouls, shots, or blocks, and the box score is in the MISL format (MPS).

The first penalty of the game was recorded as "4 fouls", which is an MISL rule.

There is a lot that must be fixed before Dallas opens on Saturday.

Balthrop are you psyched to have the Sidekicks back? Or not? You have been pretty quiet.

It $90 for all games every team. Thats not too bad but there should be a cheap home team package for 5 bucks

I am very excited, but being the moderator over here, I've tried to say something only when needed.

Attendance looks like it was pretty poor for LV last night. Sad! The Mexico game seemed so promising! Wonder if ownership is sweating

I saw the same thing from the pics posted on the Legends Facebook page. They even intentionally took a "crowd shot" pic which looked very sparse. I haven't seen an official attendance listed for the game but I would be shocked if it was anything over 1100.

You would have to make your purchase while a PASL game is live and will have until 9 a.m. PST to view the archive before his pass expires. It will post to VOD within the hour following the end of the game.

They were probably gearing a lot of resources and two months or so of time to selling the Mexico game and then only had two weeks to sell the next game. That's what happens when you don't have a big season ticket base. That's partly marketing and partly a change in people's buying habits.

I mentioned to PASL that I would watch PASL games if they were free on the internet
and this was the response I got from PASL
    [IMG]
Professional Arena Soccer League Yeah! we would have more teams if the arenas were free, we did not need liability and workers comp insurance, and gas was free for travel.

Who the heck is their PR person = they just turned me off

Enough said except you have an aforementioned problem with me personally and (again) I didn't write that reply. I don't think the post was meant to be as sarcastic as it came across, but I took it down because it wasn't constructive.

Well I have personal ties to Rampage & the Mustangs and I know quite a few players on the Sidekicks and Sockers and I am sure I know some players on other teams so I will not stop paying attention to these teams or players but the PASL as a whole just turned me off from that one comment. It was sarcastic in tone and probably an obvious answer but I was just making a point.
There was no need to get snooty about it. One could have said due to budget concerns we felt it necessary to stream the games for a fee to help generate revenue and as we do not favor doing this it is something that we feel will help the league and the organization.
Of course PASL may get quite a few who pay that fee but I am sure that more people may have watched games had it been streamed for free. Especially this year since Rampage - Sidekicks - San Diego & the Mustangs are making bold statements with players and standings. I know Mustangs have not played a game yet but they do look good on paper. I just think that even though if it was free it would be a lot of exposure. A fee to watch a 2nd tier league where the first tier is free did not make sense to me. My point being is that I would have watched more games and kept watch on more teams if I could see them but since I can't and your person slammed me I am turned off.
But all water under the bridge now - and I do mean it sincerely Good Luck.
Personal waiver = Oh and my personal ties are just friendly - I am not an employee or represent any team in particular. I just happen to have friends, and I have never been an employee of any team in indoor soccer.

Or it could be free. The Sockers games are free on their website and some of their games are even on the actual radio.

Not true. The Sockers audio feed is free on their website. Video is PPV online. Yes most of their games will be on ESPN radio
