    That may be more impression than fact. I keep forgetting there are more than 12 players on Akron.:) Seriously, am I missing something on the other costs? Are they really profitable?

    ... and most importantly no TV money. That is the only way football and basketball do it at the bigger schools.

    Unless you can find me a link that says Mr.Porter donates all of his summer camp earnings to the university annually, I don't believe Caleb Porter spends majority of his summer working for free at UA camps instead of spending time with his family with his incredible 300k salary.
    The 1,000,000 you pointed out, would go to the volunteer assistant coach and assistant coaches, after Porter cuts his share and the expenses of renting out the school dorms&dining halls.

    Therefore, Akron soccer is also, NON-Revenue
