Love Mizuno's classy colours, just hate that theyre not widely available! though it does make it pretty cool when i wear them and people notice what they are and ask how i got them.

Q: whats the deal with the mizuno wave's? they look like neos but different. I'm intrigued, especially since all the ebay ones are expensive!

I've had the red/black estrela neos for a few months and really love them so far. However, I've been using a K leather cream that I got with a pair of Kelme's and I'm not sure its really doing the job. The shoe doesn't really seem to absorb any of the cream and some of the paint on the areas down near the outsole seem to be drying up and flaking off a little. While this could just be normal wear and tear, just wondering if anyone else that has them has a similar problem or if anyone could suggest a different leather food/cream to use on them. I'd really like them to last as long as possible.

I use Chelsea leather food, I usually have to leave it on overnight and a bit through the day for it to be absorbed since the upper is a washable K leather.

They took four days to arrive to my door! I am very happy with them. When I am wearing them they feel like an extension of my foot. It's incredible.

Still can't get over the fact they don't make those in my size! Would love to try a pair!

Sooo wide....... I mean, does asians have bricks for feet or what?
Not trying to be offensive or racist, but Mizuno doesn't make shoes that fit my foot and my feet are (as you can guess) narrow.

Thanks guys they truly are amazing boots.

I was worried that the padding in the leather would make too much of a cushioned touch for my taste but it is absolutely perfect. Also, I was worried at first because they were a little tight but they stretched ever so slightly so now all the discomfort is gone and they literally feel like wool slippers. The leather is incredibly soft and continues to soften as I wear them. For a boot that looks somewhat bulky it feels incredibly slim and streamlined.

My only complaints were the insole which I swapped out and I am considering removing the fold over part of the tongue. I really don't want to because I like the way it looks but it does get in the way at times.

Also, I think the Morelia Neo fits narrower feet.

I haven't found my Neo's to be narrow, nearly got my first goal in them this morning with a cheeky flick through my legs at the near post from a corner.

gwood88 what boots did you use before them? Like you mentioned about bulkiness, i am also worried they may be abit bulky in comparison to vapor 8, which are great boots IMO. So my dilema would be to take the plunge and get some morelia 2, without ever trying them on, or getting some Evospeed K or finale SL

The past 5 boots I have used were the adipure III, adizero 1.5, speciali 3, king finale, and Diadora Evoluzione.

They only extra cushioning they add on the Morelia is in the toe/forefoot area and the heel, everything else is just leather with a layer smooth, frictionless fabric over it. That really helps cut down on the bulky feeling. Don't get me wrong, they do feel a little more bulky than an adizero but it's not nearly as noticeable as you would think. They fit really close to your foot so that really helps them feel slim as well. It's like they just wrap it tightly in a soft leather.

Trust us all when we say, go for the Morelia. You won't regret it.

Ok, Also, i had mizuno WI2 in a UK 8.5 but they were too small. Would the morelia 2 be ok in a UK 8.5 or should i go for a 9? I had adipower in uk 8.5, perfect fit, which is why i got that in WI2

    for comparision:
in terms of shoe length + general fit-feel, my japan-made morelias is a uk6.5 (25.5) - same as the nike tiempo legend iv

WI is usually tighter bcos it's not full leather, but with those extra bio-panels (the rubber fins)

yes, morelia II feel a little tight at first couple of wearings but eventually it'll just mould perfectly to your feet!

You would probably be ok with a size 8.5UK. Like Kiongsm said, the WI would fit tighter with all the bio-panels and all the extra stitching. Just to be safe you could always go try on a Nike Tiempo IV just to check your sizing before you order them. That's what I did.

Yea, and they aren't wildly different. Yea Mizunos are a higher quality. But the stitching and touch are virtually the same. It's not like comparing copas to neos

Can someone give me a rundown of the Morelia line? Like, the history and difference of the lines, such as the classic and the obv the Japan made being higher quality?
Morelias will be my next boots! Thx in advance.
