I would have liked some "quotes" from Manny Lagos or those other "championship faces" (facebook reference from the Media day picture comments).

    CHAMPIONS! TWO STARS!

P.S. - the Rowdies won a championship before the Rays did. Awesome.

What an exciting game! I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

Kudos to the 6K plus that came out to Al Lang for the NASL Soccer Bowl.

I think this confirms that the "seat count" that caused a stir earlier this year was pretty f***ing far off. Because that was NOT a sellout. But it was still a very stellar crowd (do not construe the sellout comment as a dispute of the announced attendance), and an excellent showing from team and fans alike.

BTW: I think the two-stars thing is corny. Nobody combines stars from different competitions in their logos, even if they just happen to have the same name. Do you want to give the Cosmos any ideas, so that they put FIVE stars over their logo? They don't need any bigger heads than they already have. :p

I believe Boca Jr did put all the stars from different competitions, League, cup, Libartadores, Intercontinental, SudAmericana, etc.

Their league titles weren't won in different tiers of the same soccer pyramid. And it's still an exception.
