Lay in bed this morning early watching the quaifying for the India F1 Grand Prix. Went the way of all the usual suspects. Red Bull 1&2. McLaren 3&4, Ferrari 5&6 all inside one second. Vettel, then our Ausie Webber, Hamilton, Button, Alonso and Massa. Going to be a fun start in the morning with a long first straight going into turn one.
Was rather surprised at the Mclaren's being in the 2nd row. They looked like a couple of scotch-carts yesterday. Must have done some real work overnight. I hope this will be a cracking race and not a procession.
Red bull are looking pretty strong, though I really don't want to see Vettel run away with it again. Yes I know he 's a good driver and yes I know they have a good car but there's something very annoying about the verbose little Kraut. They interviewed the top three pole runners and by the time Vettel had finished talking the other 2 had fallen asleep. For sure. One am start for me so I'll catch it when I wake up.
Well the annoying little Kraut wins the GP of Inja. Him and Webber take off and control from the front with Alonso taking both McLaren's in the first lap or two then catches Webber when the Red Bull KER's goes out towards the end. The comms tried to make Alonso catching Vettel a possibility but he just stayed in front without straining the car. Pretty good race with lots going on during it. Vettel, Alonso, Webber, followed up by Hamilton and Button. It looks like Vettel's Championship to lose while Alonso is pushing.
My sister and cousin are both going into patent law. They both just took the patent bar before they change it over
oops sorry - still stuck here in trial and was rushing on a break. but due to this uber storm court is cancelled today.
I'm not old enough for golf yet, to play or to comm. Dunno him, but if he's good enough for you and better than Rob Stone, he'll do.
i played golf at a rather high level from age 39 to 64 (cue Paulie Mc) when my sacroiliac decided to bench me...
I built the first house on Jeremy Ranch, an Arnold Palmer designed golf course up at Park City Utah. When Arnie would come up for senior tournaments he'd stay at the house next door. One night when play was over, I was burning a dead cow on the deck for our guests, I saw Arnie out in the yard so I yelled over. Come on up and join us for Trival Pursuit. He did, him and his bodyguard, and we had a fun night, at times it got to be so much fun he couldn't breath and had tears in his eyes. Crazy friends. Best night out in years he said, nobody wanted to talk about golf...! Next day he won the tournament and on his way by he stopped in to give Adam, my friends son, his score card and game ball.
I totally fooled the ref on this one, I doubt the guys foot came within half a meter of me and "Crash" down I went. I'm getting quite good at looking like I'm going down hard now without hurting myself too much. In the past I've had to beat the ground in agony because I hurt myself but it adds to the drama for the ref. Did you see the way I posed and waited until all the photographers had the chance to get my photo. I looked so good in my "Gunfighter" pose. I coined that phrase "Gunfighter" and the media love it and me. The kick, well that went somewhere in row R but that didn't matter. I'll score one in 25. The red card the defender got made them play with 10 men, making my job in the win so much easier. Jose' said I was his favourite player. Made me feel so macho. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Are you listening to me, I'm so interesting...? Oh wait, I like this story I'll text it to my PR guy. Why is the sun in my eyes?
