Yea, I think the language barrier and just culture in general makes it work that way. I too was worried, because I told them what size i wanted, and the next time I heard from them, they said that my order was coming from Mizuno (factory) and they would have it ready to ship when it arrives to them. Once it did, it literally took 3 days from Japan to the US. EMS is CRAZY over there...

I do NOT like the color way. I predict a failure in sales. Haha! I wonder if the boot has phenom bending capabilities, with it being a rubber boot.

i wonder wht material is underneath the plastic/rubber insteps

it has to be waterproof, otherwise, it'll be soaking wet inside!

the other parts looks unlikely leather, but the outstep is anybody guess

    arrrgghhhhhh.......

well, just stick to the trusted morelia II; at least SSW3 is quite up to mark!

I've had my WI2 SG for over a year now and i still haven't used them, now they're looking like being replaced before they ever get a use! Bloody British weather, still, dont much like the look of those new ones, the vamp part looks interesting but think they've taken a bit too far and it probably compromises some other parts of the boot now, especially the leather upper.

Hoping to here back from a job interview i had last week soon, if it's good news i might be treating myself to some Morelia AF KR from dosoccer!

Woooow.... those things are ugly and completely everything that Mizuno owners DONT want on their boots....

Edit: The material under the 'skeleton' on them looks to be a synthetic leather.

One has to think, are these the 'highest level' versiosn?

Sorry to bring this up again but I can't help but feeling I am not going to get a response from sportsguide. I still haven't heard from them and I ordered the boots Monday.

How long did it take them to email you back and tell you they were ordering the boot from the factory and how long did it take for them to get the boot from the factory? I am just trying to make sure I am not wasting my time waiting.

Why oh why is Mizuno turning the WI synthetic? I guess that's supposed to be there "technology" boot?? Sort of like the Pred LZ and the new Nike silo replacing the Laser? I dunno. But it seems to me they are trying to compete that way.

Also did anybody see these yet? This colour of the of WI KH is much better. http://www.dosoccer.com/shop/goods/goods_view.php?&goodsno=186806276&category=001001003

And lastly I just found out that I am going to Japan next summer. I am wanting to go to SS Kamo in Shibuya and Futaba in Harajuku......suggestions??

    Hey guys,

I have the opportunity to get the neos from japan as a friend is visiting there. I was wondering if I told her the size correctly?

Im a 10 in nikes so 44 euro, and 9.5 in adidas (F50, adipowers etc) which is 43 and 1/3. Because the neos are kleather i told her to go for 43, and gives me a bit of room for stretch, that sounds about right?

The Neos have a little stretch in them but not too much. I got the same size on those as I wear in the nikes and adidas US 8 UK 7. Buuut I would love to try half a size smaller because I think they would stretch enough. So make of that what you will.

Finally a break through with sportsguide!
    I emailed mnobe@sportsguide.jp but this I cc'd the email to sportsguide@shop.rakuten.co.jp :

It has been nearly a week and I have not received a response or
confirmation from you regarding my order of Mizuno Morelia II's. I
just want to make sure if I am not wasting my time waiting to make a
purchase that is never going to happen.

I really would like to do business with you but unless I receive a
confirmation that my order is being processed in the next two days I
am going to take my business else where.
    Sincerely,
    [my name]

I received a response within 15min letting me know they had the boots in stock and whether I was going to pay with credit card or paypal.

I'll post pictures when they arrive.

yes, indeed.....in fact, Japan will release a KH version - unfortunately, one has to buy from the limited edition shop, morelia station in Japan

the other option is dosoccer, but according to their homepage announcement, international shipping is suspended until 31-12-2012!

so, those of u here who had the WI 1 or 2 MD/FG, how's the performance of the bladed outsole?
grip? traction? stud-pressure? getting stuck? injuries?

would prefer the 6x2 SI, but usage would be limited

    thanks!

For some reason I would get a lot of stud pressure on my WI 1 FG. They didn't last me very long either, sole plate separated from the upper fairly quickly the boot also fits pretty wide in my opinion.

^^^Strange... first real negative thing I've heard about those boots. How bad did it seperate? They are actaully studded too so it shouldn't seperate as bad as boots with just glue.

Stick to Japan made boots I say! :p

So they are finally here! Made in Japan Mizuno Morelia Neos in White/Black/Red
Apparently the Mizuno Station in Tokyo only had this colorway left, green, purple are all sold out.

Initial impressions, leather is sooo soft. Sizing is similar to adizeros, very comfortable, not sure about the insoles as they are like the ultra light F50 ones. Soleplate is a bit stiff right now but prob just need a little break in.
