IF we even make it to the hex as this point. It hurts to see that our team has sunk as low as having to fear Caribbean nations. Im off to work

Based on our results so far, including tonight, we do not belong in the World Cup. How much thjis is Klinsmann and how much to other factors such as MLS and injuries is open to debate. The fact is, however, that we are not a good team at all.

We just have to get 4th place and beat New Zealand or Tahiti.

No coach has had to deal with the injuries that Klinsman had.

Seriously? Still excuses? IT"S A ****ING USL TEAM IN NATIONAL COLORS!!! The hell with making it through the Hex round. We're lucky we weren't of this one. Hell we may not get points in the Hex round if we play like this.

I don't think there are many coaches that can accomplish what JK has accomplished with what the USMNT has to offer now. We have the highest win percentage since 2004.

What we haven't done is develop youth talent to replace our aging stars. The last youth squad to actually be competitive was the U-20 in 2007 where they made it to the quarters. Not one youth player since then has the capability to replace Donovan or Dempsey. This is the hand we've been dealt, it's time for people to realize it.

Bullshit. I expected so much more from Klinsman, when I was down on Bradley Klinsman was talking about revolutionizing U.S. soccer, rebuilding us from the bottom up.

Sure this team looks completely inept without Donovan, but almost drawing to A&B is disgraceful.

The side looks devoid of confidence and urgency and Klinsman seems to get the worst out of them with his decision making.

I wouldn't underestimate Tahiti. They beat NZ in Oceania's regional championship, if I'm not mistaken.

I hear you man, I had hopes and dreams too. We all did! But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. Just win, just qualify. It's all we need at this point. Too many players missing to judge Klinnsman on. The team is 8-2-2 this year, the best record ever since 2004. (I believe I heard this during the broadcast) Jurgen is getting the results...

My point was he doesn't look capable of doing that.

Except for Bradley at the last World Cup. And all he did was manage to win his group.

This. Regardless of who is injured and who is playing, this team looks timid against pretty much everyone we face.

We're not Brazil. That's fine. But we at least used to play like we had a pair.

Tonight was ugly. Especially considering the majority of that team plies their trade in the 3rd division of the US Soccer pyramid. An MLS All-Star team coached by any of the top 10 coaches in MLS could have done better tonight.

This team has absolutely no confidence, grit, or fight under Klinsmann. That in an of itself is embarrassing enough.

Its pretty unreal how easily his philosophical bullshit will penetrate the minds of those who are easily convinced.

Its all so vague, and pathetic.

They also lost to New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands. I mean, I don't know how to compare them to the world beaters Iceland-21 squad, but...

Well, as we saw tonight, the USA is not in the position to be underestimating anyone right now. If the team continues to play this poorly and somehow ends up in the Hex and gets to 4th place, Tahiti or NZ may have a good shot.

Three island countries that people will say here "are on the rise". Those native island nations cannot be taken for granted, any more . . :D

Playing like this, it'd be a total gangbang in the World Cup. Think 2006, but without the tie.
