injury thread, sponsored by el-cap's favorite all-time player and treatment table regular, harry kewell! anyway, so... Breaking news out of the italy camp is that borini has a fractured bone in his foot. so, we're down to one senior striker. step forward, clint dempsey! samed yesil! (who scored for the u19s today).
Apparently he was carrying an injury before he was called up. I thought the days of our medical department's being unable to pick up injuries were over?
Good news front - Lucas is supposed to be ready at the beginning of November. Kelly of course is out until the new year - maybe longer.
Feel sorry for Kelly as he was getting better with more playing time but Wisdom seems to be relishing the opportunity. Any case, Kelly will soon be deputising at centre-half soon.
Be careful, if you start bringing up the past you'll get all kinds of pissy comments from the perfect posters around here, god forbid anyone would think about the past.
He would've stayed down here for another season or two, but his missus' mum is unwell so they wanted to move back to England to be close to her.
If you think Reina has been dodgy this term, you haven't watched Jones during his Middlesbrough career. Dreadful is the word.
It's Reading, not Chelsea.. Brad will handle it. Do we still have the Italian guy? I liked him as well.
A poster told me Doni is in Brazil for family reasons apparently. Borini is out for 3 months. I know we expected either Dempsey or Sturridge in the transfer window hence the loan move for Carroll but at the moment with only one senior striker (Suarez who can get banned for mentioning any word in his native language) I am worried.
Only positive from a Reina injury is people will stop criticizing him once they see how the understudy performs Personally hoping Galaxy takes the spot as both Jones and Doni fill me with dread.
If this overwhelming concern literally paralyzed you, could I say "you are dreadlocked"? And would you reply "What? Jamaica joke?" Sorry. The international break has finally gotten to me.
