Waves fit a little tighter. The toe box is lower.... and if I had to do it again, I'd go half a size up. I think they run about 1/3rd smaller.
Well.... The only boots I've found that are astro indoor boots are these from Mizuno in Japan sportsguide: Mizuno Morelia AS http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10005398/ Wave Grevista TF (Wave Grevy Studio TF3) http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10015024/ Lancamento Wave TF (2012 Version) - Don't know if they're real K leather or not... http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10016070/ Lancamento Wave 3TF (I believe are the older versions, the ones above are from 2012) - My gf has a pair that I bought, but appear to be syntheic leather) http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/1333061/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en Don't know which boots these are... but I remember seeing these a while back and I THINK they are K leather...on sale too! http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/1515960/?s-id=borderless_recommend_item_en
Mizuno Wave Ignitus 2 (Blue) on SALE! http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10011769/ Mizuno Wave Ignitus 2 (White) http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10013581/ Mizuno Wave Ignitus 2 (Red) http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10015744/ Supersonic 2 WD AS (for wide feet) - I have the same boot but the I not II. Really is kind of wide. http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10012595/ Supersonic 3 WD (2012) AS (for wide feet) - These look interesting... I just with they had a normal width version..... And if it's K Leather like my SS I AS. http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10016521/ Don't know which these are.. but they're on sale too! http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/1517466/ This is all I have found. Let me know if you guys have searched any other stores on Rakuten, with models I couldn't find in sportsguide! Enjoy!
With that said, I don't think ANY are K-Leather (except for the obvious Morelia AS).... except MAYBE the Boots that are on sale at the bottom of my last post.... or the Supersonic 3.... I may try my luck at the 3... but we'll see. Does anyone know if PDS will get their hands on the same astro boot?
As I searched this it appears that only the last one is synthetic+calf leather (except the morelias that are k-leather). Also have a look on this: http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/Prod...c-Astro-Soccer-Cleats-PearlBlueRed-48637.aspx they are full grain leather.
I don't know. I know there is a poster or 2 here who have contacts internally over there.... but forget who they were! What do you want to know? Ask it here, and maybe someoine can find out for you.
Making a guess from your club that your based in Greece http://www.mizuno.eu/el/about/contact-us Not football specific but might be a start
thanks but I knew that I just wanted a headquarters mail to ask if there will be a supersonic 3 astro release like this: http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prod...ens-football-boots-pearl-black-red-24986.aspx
Why do the outsoles of all the above Mizuno's need to be THAT chunky? Perhaps pictures are deceptive, but why can't the outsoles be thin and low profile? What are they trying to achieve or cater for?
Got these back in august, wore them a 2 times a week starting in september, wore them about 5 times tops on turf and that happened. Anything about mizuno warranty? im from canada and got them from rakuten sportsguide
Well he did use them on turf, mine are still in perfect conditions and I use them for about 12 hours every week. Jsm you sould email Sportsguide, I'm sure they will help you out.
That's strange.... I have used all my mizuno's on Turf. Maybe the Estrelas are not as well made as all the japan boots I own? But all I end up getting is turf burn on the tip of the leather boots. Nothing near that....
Could be a one off pair, I would really recommend talking to Sportsguide, I am sure they will help you out. Mnobe@sportsguide.jp
Ill email them and hope for the best. My left shoe is still in perfect condition. My cleats usually do get pretty beat up but not this quickly. Any idea how much it would be to ship back? ive never actually sent a package anywhere Thanks everyone
Last time I made a return to them the guy sent me my money back along with money to ship the shoes back before I even sent them.. Shipping isn't very expensive, about $15-$20 They have great customer service, hopefully they can help you out.
I just send an email to Mnobe@sportsguide.jp placing an order for some Morelia II's. I am super excited! Side note, I think JC/Dr. Boots may be too modest post this but his review of the Japan made Morelia II's is up on his web site: http://drboots.com/?p=154
gwood, so so glad to hear tht! morelia II (MiJ) = best of the best classic boots! truly miles ahead of the others!
Anyone know if sportsguide can get their hands on these??? Also, the sizing I saw was M,L, and O. Is this Medium, Large, and Extra Large??
Thank you guys! I will post pictures as soon as I get them. I do have a question though. I emailed sportsguide yesterday telling them the size and product number and I still haven't received an email back. I know I am suppose to pay with paypal but is there a way I can do it through rakuten?
I don't think so. They normally just send an invoice through paypal, and you pay through there. They probably have ordered your product directly from mizuno, and once it arrives they will let you know that it's ready to ship and will send you invoice.
