It needs to happen. This aggression will not stand, man.

Will never happened.. Santos as a club or organization isnt big enough like say Flamengo or Corinthians to have a significant pull.

Its not even aggression we all knew that this situation would come up as far back as the Paulista and its pointless filing a complaint or complaining about it because Santos already filed a complaint to move games during the olympics and failed. Santos's front office had plenty of time to bring in reinforcements. We missed on Ibson and shipped out Ganso and Elano not a good recipe even with Neymar present. A star player can easily get hurt just because Neymar is made of elastic I can't blame the calendar but I do blame the lack of depth and Muricys tactical slump that went on from the libertadores vs velez all the way up to them losing to Bahia at home.

Exactly and the smaller teams would not go along with it.

Muricy calling it as it is, saying that if Neymar was to ask him - he would tell him that he needs to get the hell out of Brazil.

I said it the minute he signed the new contract, but sadly this is absolutely correct. He needs to move out the first chance he gets.

And against strong opponents like Botafogo and Vasco... Well I give up on trying to understand this team :p Dunno what to expect now, at least it seems we are safe from relegation so maybe we should aim for a Sulamericana spot and see what happens.

Indeed. IIRC he had a direct participation in 6 out of the last 9 goals we've scored... It's pretty clear that he has the talent, he just needs to be more consistent during the game... But he is only 19. He has all the time in the world to sort that out, it's just that our team form put a lot of pressure on him, the fans are irritated so they lack the patience that all talented youngsters deserve.

Thanks Santos for defeating Vasco over the weekend! SPFC is now in the G-4. Here's to a great finish by Santos, to reach and to do great in the 2013 Sul-Americana. You guys had a great run in recent years. You'll be in the Libertadores again in no time.

After yesterday's game against Atletico-MG, Neymar was asked for the zillionth time about him leaving Santos to Barcelona, since a DIS director said that he was going to leave in the middle of next year and they were going to keep 40% of the transfer fee. He answered:

“A DIS não pode falar nada a meu respeito. Eles deveriam ficar quietos. Têm um percentual dos meus direitos, é verdade, mas não mandam nada na minha carreira. Quem fala sobre o meu futuro são somente eu e meu pai”, disse o craque. “Peço que vocês acreditem em mim. Quero ficar no Santos. O dia em que eu decidir ir embora vocês ficarão sabendo por mim ou pelo meu pai, por mais ninguém”, completou Neymar. E finalizou parecendo se referir ao amigo Ganso: “Se a DIS quer falar de alguém que fale de outros jogadores. De mim, não”.

"- DIS can't say anything about me. They should stay quiet. They have a percentage of my transfer fee, but they have no responsability over my life. The only ones allowed to talk about my future are my father and me. Believe me. I want to stay at Santos. The day I decide to leave you will know by my father's or my own mouth, no one else. If DIS wants to talk, they are free to do so about other players. But not about me."

Are you taking notes, Cisne? You little female dog. Neymar has the balls to speak for himself, to admit his own choices. If you were half of the man that your "little brother" is, you wouldn't be so ridicularized by the whole country.

    Preach.

Should have beat Atleti on Wednesday night. Pity the comedic defending decided to show it's full brilliance. Bruno Peres was woeful.

This team is bad and makes me feel bad. Jesus Christ this match versus Ponte Preta was a pure nightmare.

I sat there trying to figure out how to analyse this team. Nothing makes sense. It's like the progress over the past five games was an illusion.

Not having much to play for at this point in the Brasileirao probably has something to do with it.

Anyone have any news on us pursuing Pablo Aimar? For the first time in awhile I feel like there is a really good chance of losing Neymar at the January break. Maybe bringing Robinho back would help but I don't blame him for being frustrated, I'm sure all of us were thinking the same thing as him during the Nautico game.

Things aren't going that well it seems... The Alex Sandro case still fresh in Benfica's mind.

Ah yes. They would still be angry over that.

Anyone know where I can watch the U20 games (specifically those in the U20 Copa do Brasil)?

From Benficas's board: Pablo Aimar hasnt trained in over a month, and is on his way out in January. Teams from Brasil and Argentina are interested. He is already 33 years old by the way. That is a little old to be fighting injuries and trying comebacks.

Neymar just scored a hattrick + assist against Cruzeiro. For the Cruzeiro fans it was a terrible day, for Neymar it was Saturday

 J/k . Actually, dunno if ironically or not, the Cruzeiro fans clapped and called his name after the third goal, Neymar was radiant in the post-match interview, a precious day for him. Class act by the cruzeirenses.

No kidding. They almost made me like Durval. ALMOST.... Then Cruzeiro hit the post and I regained my senses.

Who do I have to kill to see Dracena + Gustavo Henrique as our CBs next year?
