The pink/white colourway. I've already got the blue/orange. I only noticed the weight difference when it came to freestyling to be honest I don't think I would have noticed otherwise. I like them. Think I'm going to give them a go and then see what I make of the new adizeros.

Some of those adizero colourways are fantastic. Is it confirmed that there won't be leather versions?

LZs not bad too - but, counting colourways, looks like they'll be able to release the blackout by late next year. Weren't these Predators supposed to stick around for two years? Guess not...

Since the Predator went from K-leather to Taurus to HybridTouch can we expect the next generation adiPure to be HybridTouch?

I remember when boots DID used to stick around for 2 years and they'd release about 6 colourways max in that time.

I just want the new adizeros to fit the same as they current model. Not too bothered by the design but i realy love the synthetic on the current model i like that it doesnt really give and supports your foot. I don't see why they wouldn't be doing a leather version in the new boots a lot of pros prefer leather so you think they'd make the boots avaliable to the general public. The only reason i can think why they wouldnt is because they didn't sell very well this time around or durability issues.

As for the LZs wore them for a while today and actually quite like the touch. I like how the zones aren't too grippy. The only thing im finding a bit uncomfortable is how stiff the back of the boot is around the achilles. I can see me getting a few blisters i think.

If you hold the synthetic boot and the leather boot next to each other the leather version just looks really poorly made in comparison - sort of like it was an after thought.

Indeed, the leather models often look poorly crafted in comparison. Shoddy glue jobs and the like.. I really want a pair of AdiZeros in Synthetic though. I miss them.

The material on the upper, the grip material is different, the soleplate is different, the material inside the boot is different and the fit of the boot is different.

Saw the new/new Preds this weekend. Looked pretty sweet, not gonna lie. Can't really say much more I guess. Also saw the boots that one German dude was wearing with the yellow stripe. New silo that focuses on protection and energy output. Pretty sweet cleats as well.

A while back we had just finished a game and we were walking to our cars. This guy who we had just played was walking off with his girlfriend. She goes oh those are some cool cleats, they're Halloween colored. I thought to myself wtf is she talking about....I was carrying my black/warning adipure IIIs and it was October.

So I bought a pair of Copas a couple weeks ago. It's not my first pair but it's my first pair in almost 10 years and I'm sad to say I'm pretty disappointed. That's not to say the workmanship has suffered. I really couldn't say as I can't remember my last pair all that well. The K leather upper is great as always. I should probably state that my first pair of Copas was also my first pair of high end boots. Maybe I'm just spoiled now by newer technology and that's why I'm disappointed. The sole plate and stud pattern are just not doing it for me. The sole plate feels mushy, clumsy and unresponsive (well I guess that could be me, partially ). I tend to "fall off" the sole plate when turning and I tend to "miss" the front studs when toeing off (upon further reflection, I do remember this happening in my last pair). From that, you might assume I have wide feet, but they're actually narrow.

Anyways, the craftsmanship is great and I'm glad they're still made in Germany. Softest leather of any boot I've ever had, and I won't buy boots that aren't K leather. It seems while the upper is timeless, the sole plate is not. I just wanted to vent. I was between the Copa and the Diadiora Kobra K Pro (yes, an older out of production boot, but you might consider me a Diadora fan boy), so I'm not too happy that I'm not totally satisfied with my Copas after using them in two practices and one game. I've just now ordered the Kobras. FML.

    It's a classic... but doesn't mean it's perfect

Yea, I realize that. I've always gone for the classics, anyways, which is why I find it ironic. Or at least a more modern take on the classics. I don't think it's so much a fault of the boot as much as it is they just don't work for me. I just wish I would have remembered the issues I had with them years ago. But like I said, back then, they were my first high end boot and my taste in boots wasn't as refined as it is now.

If you want a 'classic' boot, but with injection of 'modern' I suggest Mizuno Morelias. They're a great mix of classic feel, don't over stretch like Copas, light sole plate, yet is flexible (i hate stiff sole plates), soft leather, nice classic round studs, classic fold over tongue, etc. etc

Thanks for the suggestion. I have considered them before. But I think I'll stick with Diadora for the time being. My last couple pairs have been Maracanas (which I loved), and I just ordered some Kobra K Pros for half off original MSRP. I prefer a stiffer, wider sole plate, which Diadora tends to have with the wire running through it. I don't know what it is because I have narrow feet and Diadora tends to run wide, but they just fit like a glove.

Any input on the date of release? It would be pretty annoying for the LZ to only have a 10 month life span as well. Also, will this be a return to leather or are they staying with the Hybrid L-S?

I believe it's the summer/fall 2013. Honestly, every time I go there I'm so all over the place with all the new shiz they show me, I barely hear my buddy talking. Ha. Plus they give me free beer. As far as the upper, it looked and felt leathery. LZ's have that little bit of shine to them and these did not.

The LZ's just look... Poor in comparison!
Maybe it's just because I'm not a huge LZ fan, but the absolutes just look so much better quality wise and classy (IMO!)
