So its been decided, Sangju Sangmu will be relegated to Division 2 by the end of the season. That means one other team will be relegated along with Sangju - which will obviously be the lowest rank team from Group B.
Along with that, the league have also created a rule where Sangju Sangmu must have at least one player of age 23 or under (18 years old is the youngest age you can make you pro debut). In 2014, this will increase to two. By 2015, at least one of them must always feature.

    Jitevra,

Question for you...hoping you know the answer. Is Korea going to adopt the Scottish table system where there will still be one single table for the whole year (now at 30 games, moving to 44), or the will the table be frozen at 30, and two new tables, one for each group (like Peru does).

It seems like if they admit they are blatantly adopting the Scottish system that they will be continuing with the same table, but I haven't seen anything definite.

They will continue with the single table for the whole year, like the Scottish table system. Not sure if you can read Korean, but here it says they will continue with the original table and their points will not be erased.
Even if a team from group B finishes with points higher than a team from Group A, it wont have any effect.

Thanks for responding...I can't read Korean, hence my asking you :)

    I understand the first paragraph.

I am confused about the second paragraph. If a team from Group B wins every game and jumps ahead of the worst Group A team in points, will they then go to 8th, and the Group A team will drop to 9th, correct?

Or can the best group B team never finish above 9th, even if they finish with more points than a Group A team?

No team from Group B can exceed Group A.

Jeonbuk's Kwon Sun-Tae is back from military duty. Wonder what will happen to Choi Eun-Sung now.

They're pretty even too in terms of caliber. I'm guessing maybe Choi finishes the year and Kwon resumes the starter job next season.

Or Kwon resumes as starter and Choi at his age should be grateful that he can still get a job in the K-League and be #2.

I think it is still premature to make the decision on Sangju at this point. Sangju was still working on meeting the criteria. KPFL should have kept their patience.

I'm not sure he would be ahead of Choi and Kwon. Choi is a long time veteran of the K-League and one time KNT member. Kwon I think also been called up to the KNT and is a relatively reliable goalkeeper.

I haven't seen enough of KMS to make that judgment though. I think he was pretty much a backup for most of his career.

Well all the games this round are broadcast on TV, so I am pretty sure some will be available for streaming online.

    Most likely:
    Gyeongnam-Ulsan

    Likely:
    Suwon-Pohang
    Busan-Seoul

    Not Likely:
    Seongnam-Daejeon
