Insurance is what you want to pay for. You can be under-insured regardless of the company. That being said, all my assets are insured through Erie.
I pointed out that 'Cash for Clunkers' was a stupid idea and would be an ineffective use of stimulus money, but you know what? I used it to buy a new car. Thank you Obama.
I'm impressed you found a photo that pays homage to his Cherokee heritage, he is afterall 0/32nd part Native American.
When did Ryan beg for stimulus money? Romney has said Romneycare was a mistake. I think there was Only five percent additional insured under his health plan. Now Massachussetts is 20 billion in debt. Was insuring the other five percent worth 20 billion? http://spectator.org/archives/2009/03/20/the-myth-of-the-46-million The above is an article that says the uninsured is closer to 8.2 million as opposed to the 46 million cited. It says the fastest growing group of uninsured is those making $75,000 and above. Is the cost of Obamacare really worth insuring 8.2 million?
South Carolina and Virginia I think as well. Wisconsin too. Doesn't say much about the program if it is not nation wide.
It is a talking point, and a stupid one. As a Representative Paul Ryan would be remiss if he didn’t seek stimulus money for his district even after voting against the stimulus bill.
While it's debatable whether taking the money makes Ryan a hypocrite or a responsible steward for his constituency, shouldn't he have owned up to asking for such funds? http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57494878-503544/ryan-denies-requesting-stimulus-funds/
Show me with some links where I am going wrong. Educate me. Back up your argument with some facts. Did you ever take debate? I am assumming that taught you to win an argument you need to provide facts.
You're a boor. I apologize if I've missed it in your previous tidal wave of repetitive statements about healthcare reform, in the US, so let me ask you one thing: Do you think "Obamacare" is some sort of government-run insurance plan?
It is government run. Why am I a boor? Because I want people to back up with what they say with facts? It is better to just say whatever you want without backing up your statements? Just come on and say whatever you want without having to prove anything. That accomplishes a lot. That is intellectual.
Government run, how? The insurance exchanges that are created by the ACA are exchanges of PRIVATE health insurance policies. There is no PUBLIC/GOVERNMENT-RUN health insurance plan created by the law. None. Zero. You do understand, don't you, that "Obamacare" is simply a derogatory term, a shorthand reference to the ACA law, devised by those who want it repealed, right? It doesn't refer to an actual government run healthcare program. The ACA does seek to expand Medicaid coverage, but that's limited to low-income individuals. In other words, your incessant droning on about "Obamacare" getting set up and, at that point, being some magical insurance option that employers can use to just shift their employees over to (by paying a fine) is pure bullshit. You get that, right?
Did you know spelling pays $2.50 an hour? It is usually considered poor form to point out a spelling mistake (especially if it is one). I realize that I might have hit a key twice and not noticed.
So it will NEVER happen that an employer will ever decide to drop their offer of insurance and pay the fine for not providing it. If I don't understand it - then the administration has done a poor job of educating people in regards to what it is about. Right?
Do you really think states such as California and Illinois can afford to have their Medicaid rolls expanded?
I would love to, if there were some hope of success. Unfortunately, attempting to educate someone such as yourself is the very definition of a non-value added activity. Education is not a passive activity where you sit back and someone spoon feeds you information for consumption. You have to have at least a modicum of intellectual curiosity. Unfortunately, over the past 24 hours you have made it painfully obvious that you are completely lacking in intellectual curiosity because you have absolutely no interest in learning even the basics of the Affordable Care Act. Not only are you completely disinterested in learning the basics of the Affordable Care Act, you have crammed your head so full of flat out lies about it, that it would take far too long just to dissuade of you of those lies to even get you to the point where you could be properly educated about the Affordable Care Act. However, if you really are interested in learning, prove it. Here is a link where you can start your education process. Once you've clicked through that link, you're going to be presented with a number of other links that will provide you with a basic understanding of the Affordable Care Act. Spend some time reading what those links say. Then, once you're done reading those links, sit back, ponder what you just read, take the time to truly understand it. It may take some time, but if you have the mental capacity to understand what you just read, you'll discover that everything you've "learned" about ACA from the POS websites you frequent are nothing but lies. Most importantly, have fun!
I hope South Carolina didn't opt out. I used to live there and they don't even have enough money to pay their Dept of Natural Resources officers. They were forcing furloughs with teachers, state workers...basically anyone who wasn't a first responder. If they opt out of Medicare expansion...well it'll be interesting.
