He was playing the best football of his life, that's what makes it frustrating.

ok thanks Johan, I did miss that. That does suck. At least it's only a few weeks out and not an ACL or anything like that

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Fer... !!

I am betting on him becoming an important figure in the Dutch NT. Powerful, athletic, and technically sound. Seeing him playing with high-octane energy was very encouraging.

It's annoying because we're playing Ajax next week with a depleted team... Ah well.

    I'm guessing something like this:

    ------------------------Mihaylov----------------
    Rosales-------Douglas (hopefully recovered)---Wisgerhof------Braafheid
    ----Brama------------Gutierrez----------Schilder
    Gyasi----------------Castaignos-------Tadic

I dunno. We're still pretty raw these days. I wouldn't sell your team short.

Oh I'm not, it's still a shame when three of your best players are injured in a big game, no?

Chadli reportedly back to match fitness, will rejoin the squad this weekend.

I got a passe partout for all three home games, at a very reasonable price too.

For us it was 25€ per game (only possible to buy packages of all three games for now though), as a student for the main stand (West, Ultras and stands are in the North) that is a reasonable price as well.

It's the same here, right now you can only buy packages, starting at 55 Euros for 3 games for the cheapest places I think. I'm still thinking about going to the Hannover away game, not sure if I can get time off from work.

If you can I'd love to show you around. In our local paper they wrote the game next week will be sold out, is that true?

Not sure yet! They're still in the first stage of ticket sales to club card holders. But I imagine it will sell out, I see no reason why it shouldn't.

feel so bad for Fer with his injury, in the worst possible time for him, when he played his best football in Twente...hope he wont have any future problems with the knee and make it back soon.
how and any ideas how serious does it look like in Bulykin's case ?

Exact same injury, had a meniscus operation. Mind you players always recover well from meniscus operations so I don't think we have Nicky Kuiper type worries here.

Douglas and Chadli are in included in the squad for tomorrow night so that's good news. It's pretty certain Gutierrez will start in centre midfield. This morning in training, McClaren tried a new starting line-up: Braafheid as left back, Schilder left midfield, Boyata next to Douglas. Could be interesting.

6-2 away win at Willem II, only thing you criticise this lot on tonight is lack of concentration. Goals by Guttierez, Castaignos, a beauty by Schilder, Janssen and an own goal.

Chadli came on in the 60. minute for Gyasi, Boyata for Rosales in the 50. Am liking Schilder in left midfield, it's safe to say now that we've got Braafheid that Schilder, Fer and Gutierrez will become our ideal midfield.

I don't think we've ever had a better squad in terms of strength in depth. Not in my lifetime anyway. Whether it'll be enough to win anything, we shall see.

I don't really watch Twente much, is Brama no longer a first choice midfielder for Twente?

He had another good game today but when Fer returns he'll get the axe, I'm afraid.

He is. But like I said, I think he won't be when Fer returns.

Twente has confirmed that Desmond Tutu will be at the Twente vs Heerenveen game next week. We have fans in unlikely places hehehe.

Because he asked Twente if he could visit 'a' home game.

if there would be some interview with Desmond Tutu after the game, i would really like to know how come he knows Twente and why he wants to come over for the game....isn't he have any program in Holland ? Or maybe he is a huge fan of Bernard Parker (who is South Africa is quite a football star) ?
