Thank God. I hate that ********er. The sooner he and his dual-loyalty cult stop having any influence on US foreign policy, the better.

This is driving me nuts, and english isn't even my first language.

Unless you're talking about a building, the word you're looking for is capital.

And here's the thing....I agree with you. Stewart hilariously (and rightly) skewered the mis-handling of the whole vote, re-vote, re-re-vote.

I like that Talking Points believes that President Obama not re-arranging his very busy schedule to accomodate Netty is a snub.

Why is VFish apologizing for America and bending over backwards to accomodate a foreign country?

I am talking about a building. The capital is Jerusalem, the capitol is in Jerusalem. If I screwed up the other way, that's my bad, but I'm literally talking about the physical place where government convenes. Which is why I don't get why Americans care.

Especially since Jerusalem should be the capital of Palestine

"Capitol" is a pretty US-specific term. I think a more universal term is "parliamentary building" or some shit.

How come the party platforms never take a position on the correct capital of Bolivia?

Are you familiar with his ouevre from elsewhere on bigsoccer, or is this response based on the elevated discourse with which he is besparkling this forum?

They have no idea where Bolivia's Capital -or Bolivia itself for that matter- is located.

Maybe they would if CONMEBOL and CONCACAF merged.

I'm glad to see you still don't understand the concept of time. President Obama is scheduled to be in NYC on 9/18 at which point he will make an appearance on Letterman while Netty won't even arrive in NYC until 9/27.

And after a little bit of research I found where you got your Talking Points from, so now we know what type of poster you are.

He's made ill-advised stops off at the Massive (Crew) forums from time to time.

I swear to God, one more of these, and I'm gonna start an "Obama time travel" thread, in which we can document all of the cases where the GOPs make an argument based on the assumption that Obama can travel through the 4th dimension on a whim.

I appreciate that now he has the capability to travel forward in time as well as back.

you don't need to travel back in time. all you need is a Ministry of Truth, and they'll fix the past for you to match the present.

I just love it that this little country in the middle east can force us to do something against our own interest by threatening to take military action themselves. I say go for it! if they want to engage Iran in a war, go for it! if anything, I would feel more comfortable if Iran acquired nuclear weapons, because they would create a certain MAD balance with Israel. currently Israel is the only middle eastern country with nuclear weapons, and I have no doubt that if their existence was threatened (or was perceived to be threatened), they would actually use them and create one big mess of everyone concerned.
