New Lasers? Assymetric lacing and similar stud system to the current Laser IV, along with a sizable rubber element.

posted in another thread but its relevant here too right, but im getting fed up with destroying my feet with the vapor insoles and the boot itself is falling apart. I love the vapor feel when shooting but as a CB the chances are few and far between getting a shot off, and after being demoted from FK taker (unknown why??) How comfy are the Estrela's? I like them because of their price and people seem to rate them. will my feet be alright without trusox in these? Even when i wear trusox in vapors it stops alot of blisters but my feet still look bad. Or failing that how comfy are the MIJ morelias. Or even easier, does anyone have a blister free boot??? <--most relevant part needing help

I got no blisters from my Estrelas at all! I wear trusox with my Estrelas as well for games and I haven't had a single issue.

A boot being "comfy" all depends on your personal preference. But I can assure you that if you get the correct size in the Estrela you will not get a single blister.

What's you guys' experience with SG/leather combination? How much water does the leather retain compared to synthetic materials?

Im assuming that you are talking about the Estrella Neo Japan made? How are they in comparrison to the dribbling/shooting properties of Vapor 8, and comfort of etc. CTR 3?

I'm still waiting for my Nikeid CTR 3's to come in, but I have owned the Vapor 8.

Dribbling has a very similar feel to that of the Vapor 8's, the upper on the Estrela's is pretty thin although not as extreme as on the Vapor 8. Shooting feels much better with the Estrela's because of the slightly thicker upper and suede padded tongue. As far as fit and comfort goes the Estrela offers a great snug fit, the external heel counter really locks your heel down and the leather upper forms to your foot nicely. The Vapor 8's fit was a bit to long like many other people on here said, also the upper tends to give a little too much and looses the snug fit after a while. I also had problems with the studs on the outside causing a lot of pressure which resulted in blisters.

The Vapor 8 is still a great shoe but the Estrela beats it in all categories, including price and of course durability. I've gone through two pairs of Vapor 8's my first pair ended up tearing away from the soleplate terribly, and my second pair's heel stud snapped off.

But like I said it all comes down to personal preference, people prefer a certain fit and have different feet. Not everyone will have the same experience with a boot.

Well like i said, im done with vaps now. however because these current vaps i have (white/blue) are on their last legs, i have to get a voucher though nike, so i plan on getting the CR7 in SG, even though it is going against what i have said, but in the UK it rains alot but theres only a couple of games i play in the rain as it usually gets called off, so if its through the voucher i can live.

Mercurial4991 what type of surface do you play with the estrela's on? if you play in the rain how do they hold up? Im thinking of getting some estrela's now and then some morelia 2's at christmas as a gift. Where did you order yours from? and how much did it cost you to ship. Do you live in the UK?

I have played on natural grass, a field that is pretty much just dirt, and a bit of turf. The conical studs perform well on all surfaces especially hard ground. I thought rain would affect the shape of the boot but because it is a washable leather water doesn't affect the shape of the boot or make it any heavier. While playing in rain (was only for about a week) I didn't have any issues slipping, this was while playing on natural grass btw. Although I have heard that the conditions in the UK get much worse.

I ordered my pair from Sportsguide Rakuten.
    http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sportsguide/item/10006337/
I'm pretty sure you know the process, you email them the link along with the color and size in CM.
    sportsguide@shop.rakuten.co.jp, and Mnobe@sportsguide.jp

In total it was $168 USD including shipping which is a bargain. Shipping only takes 3-5 days as well, and I wish I lived in the UK. :(

    Awesome.

Is sizing in Mizunos the same as in Nikes? I use 9 in Vapor, CTR, T90.

Are they japan made? Also, why is it |I see people buying Estrelas instead of normal NEO's? What's sizing like compared to Nike? I own a couple of Mizunos, and my UL's in US9 fit a litle loose (leather stretches like crazy) and my Morelia waves fit a little tight in the same size.

I'd say they run true to size, so yes although some boots like the Wave Ignitus Synthetic and Wave Cup's do run a bit on the smaller side.

They are indeed Japan made, the Estrelas provide a much better fit in my opinion they are also a much cheaper option $100+ difference. The Estrelas offer a better heel fit than the neos aswell as having a way better build quality than the Indonesian NEO's.

The Estrela's fit pretty much the same size as the Morelia II, and the Vapor 8.

At first the leather is a bit unusual, it is a washable leather (not synthetic) from what I can tell it has a super thin protective layer ontop of the leather, after applying leather food and wearing the boot the leather softens up nicely and is comparable to that of the Morelia II except much thinner.

Although it does take longer than average for the leather food to settle down into the boot, shouldn't be an issue if you let the boots sit over night..

Yeh i was going to ask about sizing. However, as they are leather wouldnt you get them say half a size smaller than synthetics? However i got the Wave Ignitus 2 in a UK 8.5 but they were too tight, so im guessing in the estrella i should just get a UK 9, which is the same size i have my vapors.

Regarding ordering them, how do you actually pay for them? and do the people with the email addresses above speak english? Also the link you sent me dont have 28cm :(

Good to hear about the traction and the lack of water it lets in too. But how come you want to live in the UK?

You would pay through paypal, they send you an invoice through paypal which states the final price and the exact mode/size you are purchasing. And yes the people in the emails do speak good english, regarding size 28cm I cannot find it anywhere. You can try emailing them to see if they can make a special order for size 28cm, but if you have no luck there you will have to wait till they restock or the next Estrela is released in a couple months.

Eh the US is just different to what I was used to in Mexico, and I kind of have this vision in my head that the lifestyle for football in the UK is similar to that of Mexico.

    Estrela Neo's/Estrela same thing haha.

Usually I get blister's from wearing boots that don't fit my foot properly, whether they are too big or too small. I'm pretty sure that's the case with most peoples issues.

Pretty sure they don't ship internationally, you can try emailing them though. spsheart@space.ocn.ne.jp

I own the white/blue colorway. But you should try emailing Sportsguide and try to get some info on restocking or possibly the next Estrela colorway release. ;)

If you need more info PM me, we are spamming up the Nike thread with Mizuno lol.
