the preseason determined the promo/rel. Cleazer hasn't released the results though and since i'm mired in the land of div 3 RW Sheepists who should be fired, I don't have a care to check it against the standings.
The question wasn't should Warzycha be the Crew coach based on the collective BS opinion. It was will he be the Crew coach based on the Crew MGT's opinion.
I wouldn't worry about it. After a long break like this, I suspect there are a number of players who simply don't post on bigsoccer anymore. I fully expect more than one person to actually be promoted after we see who sends in answers next week. Officially, KCbus won promotion to Division One, and JuanKatzelman won promotion to Division Two. But I'm certain they won't be the only players promoted.
In fact, at this point I'll offer this warning/ruling: I don't want to have Divisions with a bunch of people not playing in them, because it really eliminated the relegation battles last season. So if you don't make your presence known in this thread, or send in answers for Week One next week, or contact me in some manner to let me know that you intend to play, you will lose your spot in Division One or Division Two. You can still join in of course later on, but you'll be starting out down in Division Three with everyone else. To clarify: anybody who has already posted in this thread or sent in Week Zero answers is safe and assumed to play. But somebody like beast01 (who I don't believe has shown up in this thread) had better send in answers next week, or he'll find himself down in Division Three when he finally does show up. (Which would suck for everybody who wants to be promoted down in Division Three of course, but that's a different matter.) This thread has been on bigsoccer for a few weeks now and we've even had a preseason round of questions, so everyone has had a fair chance to see it. But I also intend to send out PM's next week to give everyone as much opportunity as possible to play from Week One.
I'm sorry that you have to be in the same division as the Drunk Lambs. I guess second place isn't so bad.
