The Reeps have appealed to state asshole general Duccinelli. I expect he will find a way to keep this guy off the ballot.

Cuccinelli is a walking billboard for the importance of the federal judiciary...

If he never did anything else besides being Hank's kid and fathering Hank III, Hank Jr. would still be light years more awesome than Nugent. He's got some good stuff of his own too.

They want it in Bitcoins. Apparently they won't accept Shrutebucks.

Oh sweet. This will torment my evil ex-boss because all of his tax returns reside on a PWC server, too.

Actually, I really don't want to see those returns leaked this way. It will do more harm than good.

Yeah, its definitely not cool. But in this day and age, its almost like issuing a challenge to folks to go find it (just for the sport of finding it).

This seems odd. I mean, it seems like they have the money to snap up every ad slot between now and election day in every swing state.

It's kind of weird how Pennsylvania became such a reliably, if not automatically, blue state. I get that the urban areas have a lot of people, and that's why those areas are urban, but man, the middle of the state is huge and has the kind of old economy-driven constituency that should be easy for the GOP to pick up.

He has said he assumes he will release the 2011 ones "once the accountants are done with them" and they're ready. Ignoring the fact that they were due by 4/15, so they're a little late.

Yep. They are going to release them in mid-October, just a couple of weeks before the election. Who is the genius running that campaign. :D

It has a purpose... Dems will only have a couple of weeks to review them and use whatever they find against him...

It will take one all nighter for a couple of accountants to rip it to shreds. Then, guess what? The whole topic of Mitt Romney's tax returns, and his refusal to do what his father did comes rushing back into the spotlight at the tail end of the campaign. Sorry, I don't think that is very smart.

Since he got an extension, they aren't late until October 16th.

Not necessarily; if they are bad enough, it might be that limiting the discussion to a couple or three weeks is better than talking about it all campaign long.

Of course in that case it might have been better not to run...
