Yes, 2006. Beat out Daniel Agger for it.

    Highlights

The goal sequence starts at 2:21. It is a nice piece of combination play by FCN and a great left footed finish by Parkhurst. Starting at :22 is a run of highlights in which AGF go down Parkhurst's side. At :40 he nearly gifts AGF a goal off a poor defensive header form a free kick.

After 6 games FCN sit in 4th and are 3 points behind 1st place FC Copenhagen.

Oh right I had forgot about Pearce. Seems so long ago. What's the league thoughts on Goodson?

Another assist for Parkhurst, in a 4-1 win over Sonderjyske. He played as a center back today.

2 goals and 3 assists for Parkhurst in 5 matches played.

They're having a great start to the season and soon CL. Looks like Parkhurst will definitely be getting a call-up next month.

The league website is currently showing it as an own goal on the keeper. It was a nice strike by him regardless.

The loss, on the road to FC Copenhagen, means FCN will end the week at least in third and 6 points behind first place FC Copenhagen with 9 games played.

I heard that Parkhurst was at fault for one of the goals today. Did anyone see it?

I only saw the first half, but SFS posted goal highlights in the gameday thread:

I'm guessing you're referring to the second goal (and I'm guessing that's Parkhurst closest to the ball at the end). It looks like Shakhtar simply caught Nordsjaelland on the counter and Parkhurst like everyone else was scrambling to get back, but I suppose his man did beat him to the rebound after he'd chased him down the length of the field.

Parkhurst went the distance at right back today as FC Nordsjælland won 3-0 at home against Esbjerg. Parkhurst assisted on the second goal, a cut back to an open man in the box.

Highlights. The passage of play leading up to the assist assist is at 1:06

He also assisted on the third. That puts him second in the league this season with five.

Looks like another run for the title. You think he'll stay all season or leave in January?

Parkhurst's contract is up at the end of this year - any chance he moves to a tougher league like Germany or Netherlands?

I sure hope so. I recall him having offers from Austria.

Would that really be a tougher league than Denmark?

almost seemed like a non sequitor to me. "Like Germany or Netherlands"... "AUSTRIA!" Sorry not to pick on that or anything, it was just a say what? sort of reaction from me. I could see a mid to lower table Bundes time taking a chance on him. The fact that no fee will need to paid will be a big plus too.

I don't know. Heath Pearce was voted defender of the year in Denmark (surprisingly also for Nordsjaelland) and he only moved to a (bad) 2nd Bundesliga team. And he was younger too.

Oh I didn't mean to be funny. Just that I remember someone saying he had a few lucrative offers from the Austrian league. I could be wrong.

I'd say on the same level but pay is probably better.
