I don't understand why people completely write him off. He did have a bad game against Antigua but he hadn't played in months due to injury. I felt he was having a great season last year before his injury and if he can stay healthy who knows what might happen. I'm not sure if he will be able to make it back to the national team but i wouldn't be shocked either way. Lets just let this season play out and see what happens.

When he plays against Messi and Ronaldo and Villa and Soldaldo and Falcao and helps keep a cleansheet, suddenly all his haters will be d#%% riding him again. I greatly look forward to his season. As you said he was having an amazing season at Sporting. He was scoring goals and shored up their defense.

How about Andagoochia: Onyewu at Malaga

I'm assuming you are correct and Malaga is in Andalucia...

It's about as "in Andalusia" as one can get.

Must take advantage of this rare opportunity; otherwise a lifetime of regret may follow.

I refer, of course, to the possibility of working "Andoguchia" into the thread title.

LOL Saviola looks like he can fit in Gooch's pocket.

Malaga could be in deep shit. They're on a list of 23 teams being investigated for FFP violations. Currently, UEFA is withholding any CCL prize money. There's also a possibility they'll block CCL TV money, and suspend players bought in previous transfer windows.

If they do not comply this year, there is a strong possibility Gooch and other recent transfers will be indefinitely suspended.

If it's not excessive injuries or indifferent coaches, it's club finances in the toilet that take a toil on our boys abroad. Could he be loaned back to Sporting?

Hah, Sporting is in the same exact situation. Its more likely that Malaga will sell off some assets and show UEFA a plan to become solvent.

Reports in Spain supposedly state Beckham & Lalas will make an investment duo & bid for Malaga..

Thats the piece on Fox Soccer. This is so incredibly hard to believe but it would be something if those two had 75% of a Spanish club.

They might keep him out/suspend him. I dont think they would completely void the transfer. Also why suspend Onyewu but not Roque Santa Cruz? He started on the bench vs Levante..
