Might as well get it going:

Roma is concerned over the conditions of Dodo. The Brazilian feel strong pain in his left knee, operated a year ago. When he forces it he struggle to even extend his leg. At Trigoria they are hoping to avoid operating again. The objective is to to try and bring him into the group after the away game with Inter, however there are no certainties.

Disappointing. Hopefully he can come back sooner rather than later.

Would of been nice if he could of settled in a bit...i think in time., he will be a useful commodity for us in the midfield.

Too bad about Bradley. He is a durable player who rarely misses training or matches due to injury. Was this a thigh/quad injury and if so, didn't he have something similar towards the end of pre-season camp? Just wondering if re-aggravated previous muscle strain. Hopefully heals up soon.

i honestly dont care and would rather see what florenzi or tachtsidis can do instead. Im convinced Bradley is just our version of Nagatomo - An average player bought for marketing purposes.

That's just a dumb comment. Is that why both of them start? And Bradley got an assist as well. I guess you are smarter than the coaches.

well i dont think Nagatomo will start anymore since Inter just got alvaro pereira (nor was he ever the automatic starter with Zanetti n Maicon as the fullback)

and outside of that assist, Bradley had quite a horrible game.

I mean dont get me wrong here, i do think he could be a solid squad player, However i do believe marketing played an important role in getting him.

Seems like Roma's press officer is finally figuring it out. Press statement denying that Dodo needs to be operated on his knee.

Yeah, the engine room midfielder is not a sexy, marketable player. Bradley's style really isn't suited for this midfield though. This midfield is shaping up to be three guys who do everything. Bradley can run and defend with the best, but his ball skills are not close to that of Taxi, DDR, Pjanic, and Florenzi.

Shame with Balza. Can Marcos play fullback?

thats a bit of an exaggeration. im just saying its convenient that they signed him right before the usa tour. I also dont think he fits the team too well, id rather see florenzi n tachtsidis play ahead of him - two players who played in Serie B last year.

I am in agreement with you. It was no coincidence that Bradley was brought to all press conferences durring the American tour. Plus signing an American player is something that was rumored since last summer. Bradley was in the right place (Serie A) and available for a right price.

Plus yeah he doesn't fit into Zeman's picture of football. That's not to say he' not a decent player, but just that he doesn't really have the ideal characteristics for the available role in Zeman's tactical setup. He can learn to interpret the role but it certainly doesn't come natural like it does for Florenzi.

Balzaretti has a similar injury to Bradley, lesione muscolare di secondo grado, and is expected to be out for up to 4 weeks. He should return in time for the Juventus match. :(
