I had a guy in Nike Paris store explain the situation to me, he said that due to too many people ordering from the internet, the pairs that were to be sold in the shops were send to the people instead.

same here. Sole separation in 3 places. Kind of disappointed tbh, but they are soooooooo comfortable. Hopefully they will last my school season so i can get it warrantied and have a new pair for my club season :D

i'm not about to go buy a pair of AG cleats just to play in them 3 games a season, and i didn't mention SG on turf.

I was looking through some old pictures of Ronaldo's vapors and I've noticed that (major) boot personalisation didn't really happen until a few years ago, like 09/10. Not to say that it didn't happen before but real major mods like disguised boots as something completely different (see schweinsteiger adipures now) or James milners CTR's that someone posted here. Just completely different to what's sold in retail, and it doesn't surprise me either that all this is happening in the last few years when boot quality and lifespan has decreased considerably, particularly within the 'big' brands such as Nike and Adidas being major culprits. That said, at least Nike have decent return systems in place.

Anyway rant over. I'm really looking forward to the next few releases of te mercurial range. But is it just me that doesn't like the yellow on the inside of the seaweed boots, in the sock liner area? A minor issue I know but it just bugs me aha!

I ordered and created a pair of Blackout ID Trequartistas. If you are willing to wait for me to receive them I could give you actual pictures as well as a bit of info on them, I ordered them 10 days ago so at max they should be here in another 18 days.

I wasn't specifying you.. I just mean in general. By all means, if you want to wear FG on turf... Go ahead and do it.

You might get a refund, the sense studs were so stupid though. I don't think they made any difference and thats been backed up by professional players not using the, on their boots. Get in touch with Nike and see.

Surprised at the lack of colourways for the Vapor VIII.

We have pics of all the upcoming CTR, Total 90 and Legends, but from what I can see all we have is the Ronaldo Vapor VIII before the IX which will launch in January right?

Nope, there's still a baby blue and orange colorway. Along with another one which I can't remember at the moment.

Nike always seems to have a bad method of 'glu-ing' the upper and the sole of their soccer boots. Even with the take down models, the upper comes off easily from the soleplate. I see that some of you who own the 1st tier or 1st grade models have the same issue. I wonder why Nike doesnt do anything about this. Just IMO.

It could be a fake, there's plenty of sites doing knock-off GS's in TF & IC plates:

Though I must admit, the ones in Mercurial4991's images look about a million times more authentic now I've sullied my eyes with these shoddy imitations.
