Another late equalizer, and then Tom Huddlestone, who was supposedly on his way out of the club yesterday, comes on as a sub and straightaway is sent off. They truly are the gift that keeps on giving.

Edit: And now Warren Barton is claiming that AVB has already lost the team. I don't know who to laugh at more, Barton or spuds.

Barton is an idiot, but AVB will probably lose that team by November or December. He is not a good man manager.

Its only going to get worse for Spurs too because they will have to mesh in a lot of new players.

Anyone else catch the Swansea Sunderland match? Swansea's impressive. Felt like I was watching Arsenal 10 years ago.

I caught some of the end, and even with 10 men they were passing around Sunderland. They are fun to watch.

they play nothing like Arsenal of 10 years ago. Arsenal were a counter attacking team, quick strike team.

You mean they play like the Cesc-era Arsenal.

Podolski and Carzola are world class. Some might argue that Podolski don't perform well at a club level, but to make over 100 appearances for Germany, he has to be special, and we all know he has potential. As for Giroud, I think he is a late bloomer like Kocielny, but he won't have much impact until next year.

There really is nothing more weird in this sport than listening to Brad Friedel talk. Unreal, that voice and accent--it's like Mr. "Akron/Cleveland" just commingled every single dialect of English into a blender and hit "liquify". He's just a "lad" making a few "quid" trying to "get stuck in" and not "pear shaped".

Podolski is not world class, don't let Loew's love of him blind you to that fact. He's not chopped liver, he's a quality international ball player, but he is not anywhere close to world class.

Podolski is not world class but neither is Dempsey world class. Don't see why anyone would rather have Dempsey than Podolski, any Fulham fan could have told you how frustrating he can be at times. As for Carzola LOL, you must be crazy to rather have Dembelee or Sigurdsson than him.
