Yeah, I'd rather us make it in to the next round without killing ourselves. That's what the knockout round is for.
yeah I guess. I was just savoring the thought of facing off against Real Madrid like the good old days along with the best of the best. Being in ManU's group woulda been awesome too. I was hoping for a group with a sense of nostalgia for us.
GROUP A Porto (POR) Dynamo Kyiv (UKR) PSG (FRA) Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) GROUP B Arsenal (ENG) Schalke (GER) Olympiacos (GRE) Montpellier (FRA) GROUP C Milan (ITA) Zenit (RUS) Anderlecht (BEL) Málaga (ESP) GROUP D Real Madrid (ESP) Man. City (ENG) Ajax (NED) Dortmund (GER) GROUP E Chelsea (ENG) Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR) Juventus (ITA) Nordsjælland (DEN) GROUP F Bayern (GER) Valencia (ESP) LOSC (FRA) BATE (BLR) GROUP G Barcelona (ESP) Benfica (POR) Spartak Moskva (RUS) Celtic (SCO) GROUP H Man. United (ENG) Braga (POR) Galatasaray (TUR) CFR Cluj (ROU)
This draw has been very favorable to our coefficient. Milan should easily be able to get out of Group C, and I can see us getting out of Group E, with our only concern being Chelski.
That's a myth. There is no evidence that playing against better opposition makes you a better player.
Actually the colours just meant blue play on one day and the red the other day. That's why ABCD and EFGH was always the same colour.
That's what I said. Milan and Juve can't play on the same day for TV purposes, so we needed to be in a different color than Milan, so we could've never been in groups A, B, or D.
There's a nice post that details every game, where it is and the date... just look on the main Juve page.
Don't make the mistake to underestimate the Ukrainian champion (sponsored by a tycoon, with incredible 9 Brasilians in the squad). http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/shakhtar-donetsk/startseite/verein_660.html
I think we've shown that Brazilians don't work when playing in or against Serie A. Unless your name is Roma.
Adriano was excellent at times. And I don't think Diego was that bad either. Cicinho and Taddei were Roma players. Those are excluded from the discussion.
