    Kelvin Davis (GK)
Nathaniel Clyne (RB) - Jose Fonte (DC) - Jos Hooiveld (DC) - Danny Fox (LB)
    Morgan Schneiderlin (DMC)
Steven Davis (MC) - James Ward-Prowse (MC) - Adam Lallana (ML/AML)
    Guilherme (AMC)
James Rodriguez (ST) - Rickie Lambert (ST)

something like that though tactically varries. If anyone plans to watch, keep an eye on young James Ward

If you are looking for weak spot in defence to replace look at the name Jos Hooiveld

I think it's a surprisingly suitable, pees in a pod sort of move. Although, frankly it would've been good anywhere but where he was, at this point at least.

This is a major step up

they may get downgraded down to Championship but he'll definitely be noticed if he plays of course

look at QPR, Norwich and Reading, Wigan to be their main competition for survival . I think Aston Villa will somewhat survive

Gaston Ramirez will play instead of Guly I guess
btw I think 2 millions pounds is the right price, let's be honest.

WP papers will take a few days, so no worries for Yoshida to get traumatized this weekend.

I wonder if he is bought to be a starter? Read at a swedish Saints forum and they said stuff like "I really hope he is better than our current CB's" :D

Cant wait to see how he plays in the EPL, I felt he played down to his competition in the Dutch League because of his poor team and their losing ways. Now he will be in a similar situation perhaps in a team fighting for their lives the 1st division but its against much better competition and an overall better team. Not a bad place for him to have ended up, as long as he plays.

btw Southampton were the 6th biggest spenders in PL in this transfer period

    1. were Chelsea = 100,2 mils €
    2. Tottenham = 71,4 mils €
    3. Man City = 63,3 mils €
    4. Man Unit =54,1 mils €
    5. Arsenal = 49 mils €
    6. Southampton = 36,9 mils €

Yeah BUT, I feel that Southampton will have a very offensive playstyle this season, nothing exactly favorable for CBs like Yoshida :cautious:

Like I've written, he talked to all EPL clubs, and in the end S'hampton signed him. There's nothing more.

Okey. Doubt a bigger club would sign him though

A club like Southampton is perfect for him as he can get a lot of play time and if he performs well, he'll get noticed by bigger clubs that likely do not want him right now. But isn't it great to have a defender in one of the top 2 leagues? :D
