well its barcelona and their B team is surely something special, they always have new youngsters coming out on the big stage. Besides samp is a newly promoted Serie B team...players like david villa played like 65 min that game and barca hardly created any good chances. They still played same exact way as the main team but samp held on with good defense

I just returned from RFK where I saw a side from DC allow one from New Jersey to tie the match in the final minutes. It was two teams kicking a soccer ball, usually without any aim or purpose. Nice goals although 3 of them were due to goalkeeping errors. Henry looked like he bought a share in a assisted living community. He did a lot of walking. This league is getting worse and worse.

Yep. Week nights are tough already to draw crowds. With school starting this week and the Deadskins playing, not helpful. The league sucks, DC United has not done well the past few seasons and the league scheduling makes things an afterthought. I don't understand how the whole month of July went by without a home match. Obviously the New Jersey MetroStars have no appeal despite the likes of EPL stars Henry and Tim Cahill. Who is Tim Cahill?

I love going to Union matches. I know they suck. I know they're atrocious to watch, but there's something about supporting your home team no matter what comes. I go to every match expecting to get slaughtered and watch bad soccer. I'm OK with that because I have a good time going with the people I go with. At the end of the day, that's all I ask for is to have a good time with the people I care about.

So we are in the same company. I have been out to PPL twice. Nice little oasis, the view of the bridge gives it a nice touch.

Nigel De Jong to AC Milan for €5 million. I wish Marotta could negotiate like that.

Not the sharpest tool in the tool shed. I think he had one or two bone breaking tackles in the EPL.

    SERIOUSLY

wtf im positive marotta is the most over paying person on this planet. I mean instead of bringing back immobile who scored 20+ goals, he bring boakye who scored 12 and costed 5 mil

just the number of stupid things he's done is amazing...he does some good stuff but for every good signing he does 2 bad ones

ehh i think this is the perfect way to play immoble .
how much time would he have gotten here with the pressure to win a scudetto, compete in CL and compete with 4 other guys on his first go round in serie A.

at genoa, he gets the chance to prove himself, genoa has incentive to play him because they will either net a player or money if he does well, and he gets his feet wet. if he shows what he did in serie B there, best believe he'll be back in bianconero next year.

although marotta overpaid for boakye and especially gabbiadini imo, he has set us up to where at least one of them or that brazilian kid should pan out for juve.

although if we keep boakye, then i would be sad that immoble didn't get that spot.

thats true but it also could've ended up better than ever...if he came here and shined then we would've known he's a star and coulda been the NT striker too. But its all good, i just hope genoa gives him good enough service for him to shine and we can bring him back

Allegri told to win Lo Scudetto
    By Football Italia staff
    [IMG]
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has told boss Massimiliano Allegri to go and win the Scudetto following the capture of Nigel De Jong.
The Rossoneri have done a deal with Manchester City for the Dutchman who will reinforce a side which lost a host of key players over the summer.
Now Allegri has no more excuses,” Galliani told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “Milan, thanks to our last four signings, are now back in the Scudetto race.
“De Jong is one of the strongest players in Europe in his role and he will, without a doubt, do very well for us.
“The gap between ourselves and our rivals has decreased and Allegri can no longer hide. We need to play to win the League, not to just finish third.”
The Diavolo have gone through some mass changes after most of their veterans left at the end of their contracts in June, while the club sold Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris SG.
As well as De Jong, Milan have also recently brought in Giampaolo Pazzini, Bojan Krkic and M'Baye Niang.
The Rossoneri started the season last weekend with a 1-0 home defeat to Sampdoria.

LOL, Galliani is smoking crack. I feel sorry for Allegri, first high profile manager to get sacked this season. Actually i don't feel bad for the turd, the whole of Milan can ******** off :D
