Is Costly still unattached? Something just never added up about him in Houston, but I still thought he had talent.
Anyone see that Kei scored two last week? Of course one was for NY so that gave the Wiz a draw (which helps us). But damn, I wish we had him back. He scores so much, that he even gets on the other teams scores sheet.
A little harsh on that own goal. He expected the RBNY guy to hit it but also Nielsen didn't get out there to get it. Kei tried to miss it but it clipped his head - it may have gone in anyways because Nielsen was asleep on it.
but he only scored for one team. Kei's feat is much more impressive. I highhandedly accounted for all of the goals in the match.

Costly does now have a gig. He is playing for Veria F.C. in Greece. Veria is newly promoted to the Greek SuperLeague, the top division. He has played in their 3 most recent games subbing in the first game after he signed and then starting the last 2. No goals so far. Costly has been called up for Honduras' games this weekend.
so he wound up getting paid more over there (if they actually pay him) rather than stay with us for less money but a steady and sure paycheck? Not for me, buy I am a fixed rate vs. an ARM type of guy. But to each his own.
According to the MLS Tiro Libre podcast, Costly received a death threat for the upcoming Honduras WC qualifier. The authorities are apparently taking precautions. They also noted that Blas Perez of FCD and Panama said that he's also received death threats in the past and the Hondurans are over-reacting.
They didn't say who made the threat or from where. They're hoping it's just some jackass thinking he's being funny.
If I had to question anyone. They had end line seats at Livestrong Sporting park a cold day in November 2011
The Return of the Golden-Haired One: Nice to see him finally back with Bolton and not rehabbing here in the States.
