Game will be on Galavisison! That was one ugly game last night but getting a point on the road vs KC was a good result. Brain fart by the Bulls D almost cost us but luckily Kamara scored for both teams. Not sure if Lloyd Sam will play vs DC... but I know barring injury Titi will be playing.

I think we need to go back to the 4-1-3-2 lineup, that lineup suits our team the best. I don't want to see Lade play in the defense, I don't want to see Dax play up the pitch and keep him primarily as a destroyer..

    I like this lineup

If Barklage isn't starting this one then something has to be going on, I assumed he'd be ready for at least some second half minutes against KC. A backline of Conde-Pearce-Holgersson-Barklage might not offer much going forward, but with Dax and Tainio in front of them there's no reason we should concede anything.

Wait, this game is really only on Galavision? Is that a Spanish channel? How exactly does this work out for those of us who don't get the channel?

I've got MLS Live but that's about as useful as tits on a bull when it comes to watching a game live. Please tell me I will be able to watch this game outside of a shitty stream online.

I will be concerned if we don't see him against DC as well. 45 mintues would satisfy me. I understand he played a reserve game last week? It's possible that he simply wasn't quite ready to start and Backe didn't think bringing him into the game against KC was going to help.

If he gets garbage minutes or nothing against DC and there is no injury report on him I will be very VERY concerned about Backe's decision making.

If Barklage is good to go I want to see:

    ------Henry-Cooper
    ----------Cahill
    Lindpere--------Solli
    -----------Dax
    Lade-Pearce-Conde-Barklage
    -------------God

    Possible subs:
    -Sam for Solli
    -Tainio for Dax
    -LeToux for Cooper/Henry
-Tainio for Dax, move Dax out wide
-Barklage off, move solli to RB, bring sam on to RM

I know that's not realistic because Backe WILL put Hulk on the field, but that's what I want.

When I get home I'm going to check, but on the RBNY site it only lists Galavision for this one while it lists MSG for future games. Hopefully it's just a dumb error on my part or the web site.

Ok, so it is on MSG+ as well, crisis averted. Sorry for the false alarms but I regret nothing.

I predict a 2-1 Red Bull win. Henry will want to get on the scoresheet for his new baby. I've got him down for a brace in this one.

Defense will make a stupid error again (probably Hulk) and pay for it, but they'll take the momentum from a strong effort against KC into this game. The whole team will want to avenge the 4-1 loss from earlier in the season and put in a good shift knowing they don't have to play again until 9/15.

I agree. I really hope Barklage is good to go and that they just want to be cautious with him. I wouldn't mind seeing Pearce and Conde swap places but we'll see if Conde can adjust. Lade or Lindpere of the left wing. Doesn't really matter to me.

Still this is a big game. Hopefully Henry can give us that offensive boost. Would make me very happy to go into RFK and get the win. Must defeat the scum. DC has hit a rough patch in the summer and Columbus and Montreal are on their heels. I would love to beat them and push them down the table and be in jeopardy of missing the playoffs.

Helping to push them out of the playoff picture would make the 4-1 defeat earlier in the season easier to stomach for sure.

We will be VERY lucky to get a point in this one. The usual story, we just dont play well on the road. ESPECIALLY with our 'starters'.

The D played a little better against KC this week (still left guys open a bunch of times open for headers). Hoping for some contunued improvement here.

Obviously Backe has just been saving His Secret Weapon for this very game, which is why he did not play him at all against KC.

Of course I am talking about our man Mr. Barklage who will hopefully pull some more crazy ninja goals out of his ass for this game. I'm really hoping he gets some time in, especially against his old team once again. I think I remember reading a DC fan saying that the thing that upset him the most about Barklage's game at RBA against DC was that Barklage would probably score no other goals this season. This is possible, but it would be absolutely awesome for him to assert himself all over them once again.

I didn't see MSG listed on the Red Bulls website...They only had Galavision... but on my DirecTV guide it has the game on MSG+

I like this line-up but I am not sold on Solli... Le Toux hasn't been great either (I do miss Dane BTW...he is going to Burnley in the Champions league next season) Tainio must sit...let Dax be the D-mid. To be honest I would rather have Lade out wide left then Conde and have Conde play in the middle with Pearce and sit the Statue..

You are forgetting one thing, Marquez will be on the line-up and possible Lloyd too... So, change that line-up....

DC has improve since that game and we have to prove if we are or not a champion team just yet....

Marquez is in Mexico getting treatment for his calf, we won't see him for at least another couple of weeks. I do hope we see Sam at least as a sub, neither Solli or Le Toux have impressed much on the wings.

I don't buy that at all.

Supposedly they have some machine down there that Red Bull don't.

So nowhere in the U.S. was this machine available? We had to fly him all the way to Mexico?

    Bull$hit. Something is going on.

Doesn't matter to me. When he is away from the team it's a good thing. As for the machine thing I think it's just a matter of convenience for him because he doesn't mind spending time down in Mexico and he can get this rehab thing done.

Happens all the time man, international players pretty commonly go back to their home country to recover if its a long term injury. Helps the players mentally I guess, certainly no sign of a conspiracy.

Yes, but this is a 3 week deal. It's not like he had major surgery.

There's no way it was ever just 3 weeks, the guy would take a few weeks off to let his calf heal and still couldn't go more than 90 minutes without aggravating it. I know they said that originally, but they either didn't believe it in the first place or just never really updated the fans on the new prognosis.
